A-Trainings:
1. Long-term training:
- Requirement: Certified secondary school graduate (at least)
- Enrollment: Twice a year (in January and May)
- Training duration: 1 year (12 months)
- After graduation: 3/7 Vocational Training Certificate
2. Short-term training:
- No secondary school certificate
- Enrollment: Twice a year (in January and May except the Sewing-Embroidery course, which is in March and September)
- Training duration: 6 - 12 months
- After graduation: 2/7 Vocational Training Certificate
3. Special Vocational Training:
- Requirement: Certified high school graduate
- Enrollment: September (Enrollment information is printed in the õ?oThings you need to knowõ? handbook for college and university candidates, published by MOET every year)
- Training duration: 2 years
- After graduation: Special Vocational Training Certificate
4. Pre-Vocational Training (guiding):
- For youth from difficult backgrounds: orphans, street children from 16 to 18 years old, with low-education (less than secondary school)
- Enrollment: Twice a year (in July and November)
- Training duration: 6 months
- Starting in every January and May.
B- Criteria:
Criterion #1: Youth with special backgrounds (with certification from local authority)
Priority type I: Children of war-invalids (above 61% injured), orphans without shelters, street children (under the supervision of social organizations), minority children with familyõ?Ts difficult circumstances...
Priority type II: Children of war-invalids (below 61% injured), young people from very poor families (also included: one-side orphans, children of divorce, children of war victims, disabled youthõ?Ư)
Criterion #2: Ages from 16.5 to 25 years old. (Disabled youth: 16 - 30 years old)
Criterion #3: Health
General requirements: In good condition and meet the basic health requirements applied for employees working in restaurants and hotels. Medical check-ups will be provided by Hoa Sua.
Other requirements:
Male: Height from 1.53m; Weight from 45kg
Female: Height from 1.49m; Weight from 40kg
Criterion #4: Dependent on the Literature and Maths Test.
Criterion #5: Dependent on the interview with Hoa Suaõ?Ts Staff.
Note: Applicants who have no permanent residential certificate in Ha Noi need a recommendation from an organization working with Hoa Sua; or a guarantee from his/her relative who holds an official permanent residential status in Ha Noi.
C- Conditions:
1. Students of Priority type I, with permanent residential certificate in Ha Noi:
Fully sponsored (Accommodation, meals, tuition)
2. Students of Priority type II, with permanent residential certificate in Ha Noi:
- 1 meal/day is provided
- Other meals, students can buy vouchers at Hoa Sua School (4000VND/meal)
- Accommodation: Self-manage by students, or the school will help him/her rent (50,000-70,000VND/month)
D- Required documents to be submitted:
1. Enrollment file (2 copies, similar to the sample form provided by the Labour of Social Welfare Service Agency of Ha Noi, sealed photo must be attached)
2. Birth certificate (or a copy with red stamp)
3. Medical report
4. Highest education certificate received (primary, secondary or high school)
5. Activities Record of Youth Unionõ?Ts member (if possible)
6. 10 additional photos sized 3x4cm
7. A personal write-up describing the applicantõ?Ts wishes and his/her circumstances (please provide details about the familyõ?Ts income).
Applicants of any Priority type must hand in appropriate certificate/recommendation letter confirming the candidateõ?Ts credibility, for example: a notarized copy of the familyõ?Ts poverty certificateõ?Ư
In addition, applicants of Priority type II must submit one more certification from his/her local Labour and Social Service Center verifying the applicantõ?Ts family poverty status (a sample form is included in the package provided by Hoa Sua)
