Spank or not to spank

I. Warm - up game: Simon says…. ( 5-10 min)
Rule: MC is the person who says: “Simon says + V”
Whenever the MC says “Simon says + V”, all people have to do follow her/his request. If she says “V”, people are not allowed to do that action. For example, she says: “Simon says touch your nose”, all people have to touch their nose. If she says “Touch your nose”, people are supposed to do nothing. If anyone does wrongly or slowly, they will be punished.
The MC will say in both structures to make the others confused. The number of people who make mistake will be punished by singing a song together.

Trong một trò chơi thì nên dùng chữ penalize / penalise, thay vì dùng chữ punish (nghe "mạnh bạo" quá).

I remember last time, a lady guided us how to use condom correctly with a toy... moderately interesting, but for someone attended one time, they find nothing new to come back.

Location: room 401 – ENCI English Center, 76 Giai Phong St., Hà Nội

I. Warm-up game (20’)
Music chairs

II. Free talk. Talk in pairs: (30’)
a. What is school violence?
b. How do you define a bully?
c. Have you ever been bullied by one of your classmates?
d. Have you ever BULLIED someone?
e. What are the reasons why people like bullying others?
f. What will you do when your children/brother/sister get into a FIGHT with his/her classmate?

III. Clip (10’)
In this part, a clip about bully will be showed.

IV. Sharing (in group of 5) (30’)
1. School violence is now involving many young students, including girls. How to cease this trend?
2. What would you do if you were the Ministry of Education and Training?
3. Given that you had a school-age child and you were afraid that your child may get some “troubles” with her/his classmates because of his/her weird hair color. What would you do?

V. Role play
In each group, we have 1 bully and his parent(s), 1 victim and his parent(s), and 1 teacher. Make up your own story to show the way you deal with the situation. How can you say when your child is a bully, how can you say when yours is a victim of school violence…

Food
Part 1: Warm-up game : Whispering
Two teams standing in 2 lines. The host tells the first person in each line what she wants to have for dinner. Team members will whisper what they hear to the person standing behind them.
The team with the most correct answer will receive a prize.

Part 2: Bingo
Everybody tells the host one or some food related-word and then each member draw a table with 16 squares. In each square, you write one word. Then the host will choose 8 words. If you get 4 words in one line you say Bingo and you win.

Part 3: Free Talk
What is the best and worst food you have ever eaten?

What is your favorite food?

Which one do you prefer, food cooked by your lover or by your family member?

Part 4: Cooking Vocabulary
Do the worksheet to know more Cooking vocabulary.

Part 5 : Activity “ SWITCH ”
Work in pairs. When the host says, “Start”, A will have to go to read the secret recipe and then go back to tell B. B will have to write down what he/ she hears. After 3 mins, the host will say” switch” and A will have sit down to write and B will have to go to read the recipe.
The game ends when all the team finishes the recipe. The fastest team with the most correct recipe will be the winner.
