Hi everybody,

I have written some sentences due to the sentence patterns, but I’m not sure their correctness. Could you please help me to correct the grammar structure of these sentences? For each sentence pattern, I have written one or two examples.
The sentence patterns which I have written in first line and the example sentences for these patterns in the second line. I hope that everybody feel pleasure to help me for this work.

- P1: S + V_I + DO + Adj/Past participle
o Ex: I always keep my restroom clean.
I dyed my hair read.
I got my computer broken after my nephew hit it by a ball.

- P2: S + V_I + DO + C_o (Noun)
o Ex: I considered her my secretary.
I designated my girlfriend to be my fiancée.

- P3: S + V_I + gerund (A)
S + expression + gerund (B)
o Ex: I keep studying hard when I’m still in school. (A)
I’m use to looking for a good position in my company. (B)

- P4: S + V_I + to infinitive
o Ex: I have to finish the assignment before the deadline.
Everybody considered drinking beer at the party.
The decree has to be executed before the next session of congress.

Thực sự là tôi không tin phương pháp học này có ích, nếu bạn định nghiên cứu tiếng Anh thì hãy tiếp tục công trình. Còn mục đích chính là sử dụng thì nên tránh xa.

Bạn không thể viết hoặc nói hay tiếng Việt nếu không đọc nhiều, nếu chưa từng thưởng thức các bài văn, bài thơ hay. Với tiếng Anh cũng vậy, cần đọc thật nhiều, cảm nhận được ngữ cảnh trong cách sử dụng từ. Khi nào đọc một quyển truyện bản cảm nhận được màu sắc của cảnh quan, tính hài hước hay hùng tráng của đoạn văn thì tự nhiên bạn sẽ có khả năng viết tốt, dùng từ đúng và đắt. Các mẫu câu sẽ tự hình thành trong đầu bạn, viết hay nói khác đi thấy chối ngay, chứ chẳng cần phần tích kinh hoàng như kiểu S + V_I + DO + C_o, đảm bảo bạn sẽ quên ngay sau vài ngày không dùng.

Về hội thoại, bạn cần thực hành nhiều. Nếu không có điều kiện nói chuyện thì hãy nghe thật nhiều, tự nhiên nói sẽ tốt. Điều tối kỵ khi học giao tiếp là quá chú trọng ngữ pháp. Hãy tập trung vào ngữ điệu, trọng âm và các mẫu câu nhỏ có sẵn. Bạn có nói một câu hoàn hảo về ngữ pháp nhưng người cùng hội thoại cứ "pardon ?" độ 3 lần thì rồi cũng phải chuyển ngay sang phong cách "me no have money, me no want eating" cộng với khua chân tay cho dễ hiểu.

Hãy tập dùng thật đúng giới từ (xin lỗi không hiểu tôi dùng từ "giới từ" có đúng không, ví dụ như at, on, in, with, by, to, into, ....) cũng bằng cách đọc nhiều, nghe nhiều và ghi nhớ cho tới khi thành phản xạ. Sử dụng giới từ sai là sự khác biệt rõ nhất giữa người bản xứ và người ngoại quốc.

Theo tôi cần tập tư duy và cảm nhận bằng ngôn ngữ cần học, bắt chước, bắt chước liên tục cho tới khi thành phản xạ tự nhiên. Càng nhiều ngữ pháp trong đầu sẽ càng làm bạn thiếu tự tin.

Đó là kinh nghiệm cá nhân tôi sau nhiều năm tự học và sử dụng tiếng Anh (và một số tiếng khác), bản thân bây giờ hỏi tôi về ngữ pháp thì tôi xin chịu nhưng để sử dụng cho đọc, viết, thuyết trình, tán phét, gạ gẫm thì ổn.

First of all, I thank for the advices of RafaelO. He is really excellent for the experiences of leaning English. I also have some experiences like him. Studying English is not easy, but the way we study is the most important thing to make us successful.

There are at least 11 parts of sentence patterns. There still be some more, but we should take a look at these part. By the way, all of the examples for every part are already corrected. So if everyone feel interested in my topic, please take a look at these sentences below.

Finally, thank you guys too much! And as a return, there are two songs from very good Japanese animes "True Tears" and "Ai Yori Aoshi" with HD standard. Could you download them? I thing they are really nice song for you to enjoy.

Hi, may I suggest some touch-ups to your examples ?. I think they would "sound" better, not really sure if grammatically correct.

The sky keeps dark before the storm.
I would say: The sky stays dark before the storm

I gave my classmate a CD game
I would say: I gave my classmate a Game CD

I saw the thief stealing her wallet
I would say: I saw the thief stealing her purse (normally girls carry purses, men carry wallets)

I dyed my hair read.
I would say: I dyed my hair red

I got my computer broken after my nephew hit it by a ball.
I would say: My computer broke after my nephew hit it with a ball

I designated my girlfriend to be my fiancée.
I would never "designate" my GF to be anything, I just love her the way she is :-)
If I wanted to make a proposal, I'd just say simply the old-fashioned phrase "Will you marry me ?" or "Let's get engaged" rather than the
confusing "My dear Girlfriend, in the name of the Lord, I hereby solemnly designate you to be my fiancée".

Depending on what I mean, I would say either:

I am used to looking for ....

or

I used to look for .....
