Report for BINGO meeting on Xmas Day


In atmosphere of Christmas, Bingo meeting began with a small warm up game: everybody one by one try to repeat what the previous person said and add a new detail to make a story. Finally, we had a long and … weird story related to market, boy/girlfriend, some other boy/girlfriends and even knife and assassination!!


Moving to the main part, we had a debate instead of discussion as usual. With the topic of “Should Vietnamese girls who age 18 and above be allowed to hang out late at night / overnight?” we divided into 2 teams: “yes” team and “no” team. After 20 minute discussions, “yes’ team started first with two young and confident representatives: Ms Mai and Ms Nhung. Just after “yes” team finished, Ms Linh represented “no” team started showing her group’s idea. In a very competitive atmosphere, each team tried to defeat the opponent one with their opinions and evidences. At the end, by wonderful ideas of Ms Hong Anh (another Hong AnhJ), extremely good presentation of Ms Linh and powerful arguments of Mr. Duc, “no” team was the winner with the result of 5 – 4.



The last part of Bingo meeting was a sweet party! Especially, we had a Chrismas cake made by Ms Trang! As she said, it was the first time she made cake, which made everybody a little bit worried when we started eatingJ. Luckily, no one was injured or died because of her cake! HAHA. Everybody enjoyed it and didn’t forget giving each other Christmas wishes before going home.

Sorry for our late announcement. This week saturday 31th December, Bingo will have a day off, so that everybody can go out or do something to celebrate the last day of the year 2011 with family and friends.
