Terrorists arrested, Non-Syrian terrorists killed in many
areas
August 31, 2013 – Damascus, ( SANA ) - An official
source said that authorities on Saturday arrested
members of an armed terrorist group in Masaken barzeh
in Damascus, among them a terrorist who has
committed assassinations against civilians and
scientific cadres in Barzeh and Rukn Eddin areas.
The source told SANA reporter that terrorists’ weapons
and ammunition were seized among them, explosive
belts.
People of Ras Al Ein village in Yabroud repel terrorist
attack
An official source said that people of Ras Al ein village
in Yabroud, Damascus countryside, repelled an attempt
by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to attack their village.
The source told SANA that the locals seized amounts of
weapons and ammunition, killing and injuring numbers
of terrorists.
Army eliminates terrorists, destroys rocket launchers in
Lattakia
The army destroyed 4 rocket launchers and large
amounts of weapons and ammunition and eliminated
scores of terrorists, the majority of them of non-Syrian
nationalities in Lattakia countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army units killed
dozens of terrorists in the areas of Rabe’a, Akko and al-
Tifahyeh, adding that among the killed terrorists were
Abdul-Razzaq Sheikhani, leader of the so-called “Ahrar
Jableh” terrorist group, Bade’ Jahjah, leader of “Ahrar
Binnesh” terrorist group, Ahmad al-Hafidi, of the
Moroccan nationality, Abu al-Ghaith, of the Libyan
nationality and Abu al-Hajjaj, of the Jordanian
nationality.
Terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings were destroyed in
the town of Rabe’a, heavy machineguns, rocket
launchers and a vehicle loaded with weapons and
terrorists were also destroyed.
Army eliminates Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in
Damascus Countryside
The Armed Forces targeted and destroyed terrorists’
gatherings affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in several areas
in Damascus Countryside and eliminated scores of the
terrorists.
An official source told SANA that the army destroyed
heavy machineguns and killed numbers of terrorists in
the area of al-Qaboun, adding that the army clashed
with terrorist group in Jounar and killed and injured
scores of its members.
An army unit targeted terrorists’ gathering and clashed
with an armed terrorist group, killing and injuring all of
its members in the area of Haramleh.
Another army unit destroyed a terrorists’ hideout and
destroyed the weapons and ammunition in it and killed
all the terrorists hiding in it in the area of Douma,
among the killed terrorists was Ali al-Habbal.
Terrorists were killed and injured and a terrorist
gathering was destroyed in the areas of al-Qasmyeh
and al-Baharyeh in the eastern Ghouta. Terrorist Fidaa
Daher was killed in the process.
In Hijjera, the army eliminated numbers of terrorists
affiliated to Jabhat al0-Nusra, among them was Tamim
al-Iraqi, of the Iraqi nationality.
An army unit destroyed a heavy machinegun and large
amounts of weapons and ammunition in the area of al-
Dyabyeh. Terrorist Saleh al-Mijbil was identified among
the dead.
Meanwhile, the army carried out several operations
against terrorists’ hideouts in several areas in Daraya
city, killing scores of terrorists, among them Hussam
Matar and a terrorist group’s leader.
Terrorists killed in military operations in Daraa
A military source said that army units destroyed
terrorists’ weapons and ammunition in operations
carried out on Saturday against armed terrorist groups’
dens and gatherings in Daraa al-Balad area and al-
Gjariya al-Sharqiyah-Kherbet Ghazaleh road in Daraa
countryside.
The source added in a statement to SANA that many
were killed including the terrorist Hayitham Salim al-
Sarhan during the operation.
An official source said that the competent authorities
razed a den for terrorists containing weapons and
ammunition, killing a number of them in al-Taiba and
al-Koum in Palmyra countryside.
Army razes terrorist dens, eliminates scores of gunmen
in several areas
The Syrian Army razed to the ground terrorist dens and
killed scores of terrorists in Daraa al-Balad area.
A military source told SANA reporter that among the
terrorists who were killed there were Jordanian
terrorists.
Meanwhile, army units targeted an armed terrorist group
on Nahta-Hirak main road and eliminated many
terrorists and destroyed their criminal tools.
In al-Sheikh Saad village, army units ambushed three
terrorists and seized their weapons.
Army seizes control of neighborhood in al-Muadamyeh,
kills non-Syrian terrorists
The army continued pursuing the terrorist groups in al-
Muadamyeh, taking control of part of the area and
killing scores of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian
nationalities.
A field commander told SANA reporter that the army
made considerable advance in the north of the area and
cleared Bait Arfa neighborhood of terrorists.
The source added that scores of terrorists were killed in
the process and a tunnel, that was used to transport
terrorists and weapons, was seized.
Meanwhile, the army eliminated many terrorists in
Joubar and destroyed a terrorists’ hideout in the town
of Irbeen, among the killed terrorists was Abdul-Mo’een
al-Harbawi.
In Harasta, an official source told SANA that the army
killed and injured the members of an armed terrorist
group. Terrorist Ahmad al-Haswa was identified among
the dead.
The army also killed scores of terrorists, among them
Shaher al-Tukhi, and destroyed their weaponry and
ammunition in Douma.
The army units also targeted and destroyed a terrorists’
gathering in Deir Salman, killing numbers of terrorists.
Among them were Ahmad al-Hasri and Hassan Ayoush.
In Damascus’ southern countryside, the Armed Forces
carried out several operations in Hijjera area and killed
scores of terrorists affiliated to the terrorist organization
of “Jabhat al-Nusra”, among the killed terrorists were
Mash’al al-Nayef, of the Kuwaiti nationality and Safwan
al-Amouri, leader of a terrorist group.
Terrorist Mahrous Tayyara was killed, along with
numbers of terrorists, during a clash with the army in
the area of al-Husseinyeh.
Terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed in al-Dyabyeh and
Yabroud. A number of terrorists were killed and injured,
among them Fadi al-Bakri, and their weapons were
destroyed.
Army units inflect heavy losses upon terrorists in
Aleppo and its countryside
Units of the armed forces carried out operations against
terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Aleppo and its
countryside, destroying terrorists’ weapons, ammunition,
mortars and rocket launch-pads, in ad***ion to killing
large number of terrorists.
A military source told SANA that the army units
destroyed terrorists’ weapons, including rocket launch-
pads and mortars in al-Jadeda and Kweires villages and
targeted their gatherings on al-Raqa- Aleppo and al-
Kastilo road.
The source added that other army units targeted
terrorists gatherings in the area surrounding the central
prison, al-Mansoura, Khan al-Assal and Ein Jara to the
west of Aleppo, and in Nasrullah village in the eastern
countryside of Aleppo and in al-Zyara, Mayer and the
area surrounding al-Kindi hospital.
Army units repel terrorists’ attempt to attack Abu
Dhour Airport in Idleb countryside
A unit of the armed forces repelled an armed terrorist
group’s attempt to attack Abu Dhour Airport from al-
Mjjas village in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring
several terrorists.
A military source told SANA that the army units killed
and injured a number of terrorists in l-Hamameh, Areha,
al-Arbaaen mountain, Jisr al-Shougur, Kafar Najd, al-
Hmaydeh, Um Jren, Tal Salmo and al-Mjjasa in Idleb
countryside.

Homs and its countryside
Other army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-
Hamidyeh and al-Warsha neighborhoods in the city and
al-Rashden and al-Dar al-Kaberh in Homs countryside.
Army units destroy terrorists’ equipment in Adra area
A military source told SANA that an army unit dstroyed
terrorists’ mortars and a rocket launcher to the
southeast of Hajer Bin Odai shrine in Adra area in
Damascus Countryside, killing and injuring a number of
terrorists.
The source added that another army unit targeted an
armed terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in
the same area, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.
Army eliminates terrorists, destroys their weapons in
Hasaka
Units of the Syrian Army targeted terrorist gatherings in
Hasaka countryside and eliminated a large number of
them.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that armed
terrorist gatherings were destroyed in Tal Hambas and
Abu Qasayeb villages.

SYRIE - LA REBELLION AVANCE A ALEP AVEC LES APPORTS SAOUDIENS ET QATARI - INFORMATION CHRONIQUE - Les récentes livraisons d'armes lourdes, légères, de matériel de communication, etc, ont renforcé les forces de la rébellion à Alep. Depuis quelques jours, elles avancent notamment dans la zone industrielle de Khalidyah, dans l'ouest de la ville, quartier dont elles ont déjà le contrôle sur les zones d'habitats. Ce 31 aout, elles ont progressé autour des vastes usines /cimenteries de Sheikh Saeed mais elles sont surtout désormais à l'initiative au sud d'Alep avec une offensive sur le puissant bastion militaire d'al Hamidiyah, où se situe une importante zone armée et quelques zones d'habitats désertées. L'assaut de la Liwa al-Tawheed et de ses alliés dans la rébellion a déjà mené à la prise de portions (une première depuis le début de la bataille pour Alep) du quartier.

A NOTER : les apports d'armes saoudiens et qatari avaient déjà permis la puissante offensive rebelle qui a arraché, depuis plusieurs semaines, les zones de Rashidin, Khan al-Asal, Mansourah, Abd Rabbo, etc... aux loyalistes, resserant peu à peu l'étau sur les derniers résidus d'Alep qu'ils détiennent dans l'ouest de la première ville du pays, ainsi que dans son centre.
