He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. We have been friends for a very long time. I still remember the first time I’ve met him at the primary school. At this time, he’s small and shy. He is the best pupil in our class. Nam is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder. I like Nam very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study; as a result, lots of friends, thanks to his whole-hearted help, have become good ones.

First of all, being a good friend is about being reliable, kind hearted and thoughtful. A best friend will always stand beside you when you need most. One good friend is priceless and taking the time to fulfill the role in the friendship is worth every moment. And friends should never hide anything from each other.
Are friends as important to you as family?
Well, there is a famous quotation: “You can choose friends but can’t choose family”. Family is important for many reasons, but the most important one is when push comes to shove (when you have problems or are in trouble), your friends will not always be there for you, but you can always count on family to have your back, no matter what.
Do you think friendship changes as we get older?
I’m not sure about this. Now I rarely talk with my childhood friends, feel something different and I spend the most time with my friend in university.

• Tell me some thing about your family?

Well, I could start off by saying that I was very happy when I lived with three other members of my family, including: my father, my mother and my sister. My parents both retired from a state agency. Ok then, my sister is older than me by three years and she is an au***or. Although not living together now, we always keep in touch. Of course they stand by me at any time that I need.

• What do you like doing most with your family?

To be honest, the point I would like to begin with is that I love the time when our family finish the dinner. We used to gather round a table to sip a cup of tea and talk about any thing that happens in our working day or any hot news. Actually, by sharing our opinion, we seem to be closer and of course, happier.

• Who are you close to in your family?

Well as you can probably guess, I have an older sister that I am close in to my family. Although sometimes we have a falling out over a silly thing, even I wish I could have had an older brother instead of her, I realize that she is a wonderful sister. Not only she encourages me but also gives me a lot of advice on the problems of my life.

• In what way, is family important to you?

Of course, family is everything to me. I always feel comfortable and secure in my family. And I shouldn’t forget to mention that I would like to express my deep gratitude to my father, a moral support, my mother and my sister, a really good listener and adviser because I have nothing if living without them.


PART 2: Describe a close friend

• How long have known this person?
• How you met?
• What kind of person he/she is?
• And explain why you like him/her?

Ok right, one of my closest friend that I am thinking is Ngan, my classmate at high school. It’s such a long time when I met her, about 15 years ago. Firstly, I impressed on her good result, especially in chemistry and literature. She always was one of the best pupils in my class. Secondly, she is assiduous, patient and very nice. It was amazed that she chose the Academy of the People’s Security to study while I wanted to become a businesswoman. Despite of these different way, we really enjoyed the time when we studied at university. I guess I could also remark on the fact that, a lot of our secret was in the letter which we sent to each other via post every week.

PART 3:

• What do you expect from a good friend?

In my opinion, being a good friend is about being reliable, kind hearted and thoughtful. Also, I look forward to having fun with her/him, sharing confidences and advice on the problems of life. The last thing I would to say that a good friend is supportive to you and your goals. It means that she always know what makes you tick and help you become the person you want to be.

• Are friend as important to you as family?

Well you know, family and friends play an important role in our growing and development. Sometimes a friend seems to closer to you than family, but it is true that family never leaves you, even you have nothing or to be in trouble. Of course we have blood relations, and that is one of the reasons why family is more important than friend.

• Do you think friendship changes as we get older?

[FONT=&quot]Further to this question, I remembered a statement of my husband that “When you are 20 years old, there are 40 friends in your birthday party. When the age is 30, the number is about 10 friends. If the age comes to above 40, there will only 3 persons in your birthday party, such as: your husband, your child and a closest friend”. Certainly, there are a lot of factor which influences your mind, for example: working environment, marriage… So the more ages we reach, the less close friend we have.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT]

Em hỏi chút vấn đề này.
Cái file IE SPEAKING CURRICULUM chị gửi mọi người phải nói là "khủng" .
Lớp E53 từ h đến cuối khóa có lần lượt được luyện hết các topic trong đó ko chị?
Hay là cái đó để tham khảo và tụi em phải tự luyện theo các topic đó?

Mình vừa gửi trả lớp E53 file chữa speaking của nhóm thứ 7 nhé, mọi người chép bài của chính mình vào vở và nộp vào thứ 7 khi đi học.
Bài tập khác nữa của 2 nhóm speaking là: chép phần sample answers dành cho lượt speaking No.1 mà mình gửi qua email vào vở và nộp vào Chủ nhật nhé!
Nhóm thứ 7 có lỗi file của bạn Quốc Khánh và bạn Thu Hồng, 2 bạn gửi lại để mình chữa nhé.
