Học bổng này thường xét trước khóa học. Cái khó của chương trình là sinh viên phải liên lạc trước với một giáo sử ở trưởng Bonn và có thư giới thiệu của giáo sư đó.

What is Scholarship plus?
Scholarship plus is a scholarship program for excellent qualified master students from threshold and developing countries. The aim is to attract gifted young academics to the program and to enable them to obtain a final degree by financial aid as well as an integrating program.

Eligibility
The program is designed for students from developing countries as per DAC-LIST.
Those who are interested in one of the following Master programs can be nominated for Scholarship plus:

Students may receive benefits for a total of 2 years when beginning the master program. All applicants must have a supervisor for their studies and his/her personal recommendation.


Application for 2011:
You can apply if you have already got the admission for the winter semester 2011/12. Please submit your application only to the coordinators of your master program. They will then forward your documents to the International Office. Thus, the faculties are informed on their candidates and it is guaranteed that the applicants fulfill the scholarship program's precon***ions and criteria.
Please hand in your application documents by July 15 2011. The commission will presumably meet till end of July.
In any case, you need a confirmation of mentoring and a recommendation letter of the professor of your master program.
Please note: Please submit your documents to your master coordinators only!

The following documents are required for the application:

• CV
• BA degree
• Admission certificate of the master program
• Motivation letter and a short (2 pages) report about the goal of their studies and their research project/Master subject

• Recommendation letter from a professor/supervisor of the master program in Bonn
• Recommendation letter from a professor of the university at your home country

Mình thấy HB Master2 này mới và khá tốt, học course work ngắn (6 tháng) sau đó làm internship 6 tháng ở INRIA, CNRS,... nếu đạt kết quả tốt thì được nhận làm tiếp PhD ngay. Tình hình dân Việt mình đạt kết quả học khá tốt nên ngày càng đông (năm 2009: 2 SV, 2010: 4 SV). Các bạn quan tâm thì apply nhé. Deadline đợt 1 là 4/4, hồ sơ cũng đơn giản. Nếu ai chưa chuẩn bị kịp thì có thể apply đợt 2, tuy nhiên cơ hội có HB giảm hơn.

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Master and PhD Scholarships 2011
Welcome to the Online Application for Graduate Studies at KFUPM for the Fall Semester 2011-2012
Before you proceed with the online application, it is strongly recommended that you read very carefully the guidelines mentioned in the forthcoming pages and follow their sequence:
Notes:
Deadline for submitting an online application is 6 April 2011.
Deadline for uploading mandatory documents is 16 April 2011.

Eligibility
Please make sure you are eligible to apply and satisfy the following:
Basic application requirements for Master Programs in Science and Engineering:
A four-year Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science from a recognized institution with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.
A Grade-Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent, and a GPA of 3.00 in the subject of the major field.
Basic application requirements for Ph.D. Programs:
An M.S. degree in engineering or science (after a four-year B.S. degree) from an institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of KFUPM, with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.
A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in both B.S. and M.S. degrees.
Basic application requirements for M.B.A. and Executive M.B.A.:
A four-year Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
A Grade-Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent.
At least one course in college level calculus which covers both differentiation and integration.
A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by at least one course in that area (e.g. data processing, programming, information systems, etc.)
At least one-year of full-time work experience. This requirement may be waived for graduate assistants, research assistants, and applicants with exceptional academic records.

Financial Benefits
Saudi graduate students with a GPA of 3.00 and above on a scale of 4.00 can be admitted as Full-Time MS or PhD students. Similarly, Research Assistantship for Master students and Lectureship for Ph.D. students are available for all outstanding graduate students who demonstrate exceptional qualifications and performance. Research Assistants and Lecturers-B expected to spend up to 50% of their time supporting teaching and research activities of the university, with the other 50% devoted to their respective graduate programs. Scholarship for the Master of Science in Spatial Transport and Environmental Economics (STREEM)
VU Graduate School of Economics and Business is offering talented candidates the unique opportunity to win 1 of the 2 scholarships for taking part in our highly renowned Master's programme STREEM.
Two scholarships will be awarded for this programme in the academic year 2011/2012. The scholarship will be open to high potential candidates from all nationalities who are interested in pursuing a world class graduate education in the fields of Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics. Two scholarships valued at €10,000 each are offered for outstanding candidates who have been admitted to our Master's programme in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics. VU Graduate School of Economics will support these successful candidates for 1 year of studies. The winner is responsible for all other expenses incurred during his/her study at VU University Amsterdam (e.g. housing, course materials and living expenses).
Criteria of Eligibility

• Only applicants with at least a Bachelor's degree from an accre***ed foreign university.
• Candidates must have a non-Dutch nationality and be normally resident outside the Netherlands.
• The general criteria for selection are excellence, motivation and extracurricular activities.

• Do not obtain any funding/scholarship from other organizations/institutes in the academic year 2011/2012

Regulations and Application Procedures
To apply for the scholarship, and for the programme itself, all candidates must apply through our online application system > www.admission.vu.nl, by following the under mentioned steps (deadline for application: 1 April 2011):

• Apply for admission to the MSc programme STREEM at VU Graduate School of Economics and Business
• Upload all required applications documents as mentioned on our website (please check: www.feweb.vu.nl/application)
• On the page “scholarships” mention that you will apply for the “STREEM scholarship” and upload your personally written motivation letter (Why you should be granted a scholarship, including your career perspective) or email the motivation letter to masterprogramme@feweb.vu.nl.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Master Coordinator and admission officer of the Master programme who will look at the strengths and capabilities of the candidates and consider their suitability for the programme. Final results will be announced by the end of April 2011. No scholarship will be confirmed until a university place has been officially accepted by the candidate. The winner has 2 weeks after the allocation of the scholarship to secure the university offer.
