The above chart shows the percentages of internet users in different categories of age in 3 continuous years, 1998, 1999 and 2000. The proportion of each groups had a slightly different variations.
Percentages of users in groups aged from 16 to 30 and 31 to 50 started with very high value (53 and 41% respectively) in 1998. Then users from 16 to 30 proportion decreased to 44% in 2000. Whilst the respective number for 31 to 50 group was 37% in 2000.
We can see a different trends in percentages with internet users under 15 and above 50. They increased sharply in 1999, four times greater than the number in 1998 with users under 15, and double value for above 50 group. They kept increasing in 2000 but with a lower rates, 8 to 9 percent with the first group and 8 to 10 percent with the last one.
As a conclusion, the proportion of internet users changes every years, there are more people under 15 and above 50 surging the internet everyday. It?Ts a good indicator for a developing world.
