University Students and Classes Attendance
Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others assert that going to classes should be optional for students. Obviously, there are good reasons for both concepts.
In your point of view, should it be compulsory for students to attend classes of not?
Suggested discussion questions:
1.Why should students go to classes at university?
2.What are the roles of teachers?
3.What is different between learning on your own and with other students?
4.Which are the benefits of not going to school?
5.If students donâ?Tt go to classes, how and where can they study to get the necessary knowledge?

I think it''s controversial, but it''s not really interesting to me. Whatever side we stand for, we must learn to follow the rules of university (which in all circumstances requires us to attend at least 80%, if my memory still works).

I think it''s neccessary for young people to be cleared about attendance time in university, and which is the most important things with them when get graduated : reality knowledge or academy knowleadge, also GPA, working experiences...
Following your own leading opinion may causes the not good result, BUT, i think, it''s neccessary to have a strong and independent character of your own.

My class discussed this topic last school year. I dont say if it''s interesting or not but I prefer "thorny" topics: prostitute, cohabitation,... for instance.
