    Family Abuse?
    You mean Domestic Violence?
If so, I still don''t see what we can have a debate on, what *****pport and oppose.

Many things for discussion, not only support or oppose
    1. In Vietnam, family abuse is so still popular in Vietnam. Why?
    2. Do you know about spiritual-violence?
    3. If you are a senator , Plz raise some initative or idea to fight family abuse.
    4. Eastern and Western have different culture. Could we use same method to solve family abuse problems? For example, by strict laws?
    Anything else?

Well, Family abuse = Domestic Violence!
    For "What to debate" question:
In the debating activity, each group will be given a situation relating to domestic violence / anti-domestic violence law.
What you guys have to do is giving solution to the case, then other groups will be against that solution.
If the questioned group can''t satisfy other groups ( must be logically, of course!) They will lose in the debate.
    The same rule to others!
1st, Number of questions to be raised up is limited: 2 qus.
2 nd, time for each question''s preparation is 1 mns
3 rd, there will be a board of 2 "jurists" to judge the debate fairly... So, every comments, feedbacks must be reasonable! hiehie
After all, there will be rewards for the winners who make the best presentation!

Well well you guys need to be very clear about what debate and general discussion are. If this is a debate, then the debating issue must be very clear and opposite to avoid confusion.
Could given solutions from groups trigger a debate? I think not.

I think this is not really a debate but also not a discussion! When u hear about "debate" word, u just think that this a talk, and people who join in the talk must be devided into 2 sides: 1 is FOR n 1 is AGAINST. But, let''s think about the general meaning of "debate". When you have given an opinion, another person gives an opposite opinion to u, you hav'' to find some way to protect that urs is righter and more reasonable, right? >>> So, can it be a debate?
When a solution to a situation is given, ones who don''t totally agree can oppose ur solution. Then, giving them a reasonable solution might be a very good choice, don''t u think?
I''m surely recommend that this activity can help warm up our cold weather these days...

You all guys seem to forget one indispensable part of Domestic Violence. Itâ?Ts children, innocent and fragile kids living in such families. Itâ?Ts them that suffer the most serious.
    The arisen problem is that:
According to some Western countriesâ?T laws, to be protected, children are forced to live in charity-school or orphanage instead of living with their own parents. Parents lose their right to be father and mother. All decisions on childrenâ?Ts future will be made by the authorities. Many children are adopted into other families who are unable to give birth. They are believed to give a better life for children rather than their blood parents.
Which ways seem to better for children? Give your ideas and tell us why.
    Recommended by QM.
