    Fulbright Program in Vietnam
    Vietnamese Student Program AY 2010 - 2011
The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam is pleased to announce the 2010 Fulbright Vietnamese Student Scholarship Program. Established in 1946 and funded by the U.S. Congress, the Fulbright Program aims at achieving mutual understanding through academic and cultural exchange.

The Fulbright Vietnamese Student Program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program. The Program recruits and nominates young Vietnamese professionals for Masterõ?Ts degree programs at U.S. universities. Approximately 20 to 25 fully-funded scholarships are granted on an annual basis. Since 1992, more than 400 Vietnamese students have participated in the Program.

WHAT does the Scholarship provide? The 2010 grantees will pursue a Masterõ?Ts degree program that begins in the academic year 2010-2011. The Fulbright Program will arrange placement at universities in the United States. Successful applicants will receive full scholarship which covers tuition and fees, monthly stipend, round-trip airfare to the U.S. and health insurance.
