Should we discuss about something little more academic, huh?
For instance about how to speak fluently and naturally, how to implement non-stop thinking in E (and also speak at the time), etc.
...About the style of MCs; needed to use academic words and phrases in speaking or not?..and many other things useful for us to fully enjoy the weekend time together and help each other to improve E as well.

Sorry if someone misunderstands. I didnt mean the discussion for choosing the topic which is already OK -> I support it
I just meant the pre-topic discussion or the time we use before Sunday.

@ Mr Saxophone: I appreciate your idea. In ad***ion to something funny and relaxing, we should share something else more academic. However, I do wanna raise a point (maybe a gentle debate). That is: A club is a club - A class is a class. A club should offer what a class cannot, shouldnt it? Instead of learning to play football, why dont we play football? Can we learn from the way others use the language here and even the mistakes they make? Academically speaking, it is defined as problem based learning - a new method of education and training.
Once again, I must say, if anyone has something interesting and useful, let''s share to be shared.
    Nice day, my friends!

My "menu" for today :P, hope you enjoy it as a menu with following 2 kinds of dishes ^^
1.IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO BE FAMOUS!
If you want to be famous, there is no need to make scandals. Just wake up at 2:00Am and open in the max volume the song "We will rock you".
If your neighborhood tell you that you make too much noise, Just open the song "Sorry".
If your neighborhood said that they will beat you, just open the song "Tôi không tin".
Then if they beat you, open the song "Không đau vì quá đau". If they beat you too much and you have to come to the hospital, open the song "Anh sẽ quay về".
Do this everyday, and you will become very "famous". I''m sure!
2.APPLE SORRY FOR BABY SHAKER APP
A customer holds an Apple iPod Touch at an Apple store in Palo Alto, Calif.
All iPhone applications are supposed to be vetted by Apple
Apple has apologised for a "deeply offensive" iPhone application called Baby Shaker, which made a game of quieting crying babies by shaking them.
It removed the $0.99 (£0.59) game from its iTunes Store on Wednesday, two days after it went on sale.
It sparked outrage from children''s groups and brain injury foundations.
The aim of the game was to quiet babies by shaking the iPhone until a pair of thick red Xs appeared over each eye of a baby drawn in black-and-white.
"This application was deeply offensive and should not have been approved for distribution on the App Store," Apple said in a statement.
"We sincerely apologise for this mistake and thank our customers for bringing this to our attention."
But an Apple spokeswoman would not comment on why the programme - developed by a company called Sikalosoft - was approved for sale in the first place, nor how many people had downloaded it.
    Campaigners'' dismay
The iTunes description included the line: "See how long you can endure his or her adorable cries before you just have to find a way to quiet the baby down!"
It also included a disclaimer: "Never shake a baby."
Officials from Sikalosoft were not available for comment.
US-based organizations which seek to prevent brain injuries from Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) - including the National Centre on Shaken Baby Syndrome and the Sarah Jane Brain Foundation - condemned Apple for approving the game''''s sale.
Jetta Bernier, executive director of Massachusetts Citizens for Children, said: "I am disheartened that with this new application Apple is encouraging frustrated adults to shake infants, not only to end their crying, but to end their lives.
"There are many effective infant soothing strategies that adults can use to calm their fussy, crying babies. Shaking is not one of them," the Daily Telegraph reported.
The outrage over Baby Shaker came as California-based Apple celebrated the one billionth download from its App Store, which was launched just nine months ago.

@ Saxophone: I agree with you in some extents. In fact, I know that there are some ECs successful with the Model of mixing Club and Class. IESC is a very example because of their objectives to take the IELTS test. BE is a little bit different. We come here to "do", to "learn from mistakes". Of course, sometimes we''ve tried academic discussions and workshops, such as "Recruitment", "Study English", "Stock market", etc. The problem here is the differences between members. We come from different fields of life so that someone may not understand the academic topic. For more relaxing, we''ve chosen the common topics for members then everybody has equal chance to talk and discuss. Soft skills are also highly recommended in BE. You have chances to be the Master of Ceremony, show off your ability and practice your soft skills here, including English. That''s why we''ve chosen not many academic topics.
Anyway, we''ll think about "a little more academic" as your suggestion. Thank you very much for your contribution! We are eager to learn from you. .

@Tuananh and Micheal Ballack: What I referred ..uhm just like how to make more mistakes (as you both said ) in more different extents so that we can learn more from those.
    Hứng đột xuất:
I have a topic which is quite interesting at least as I consider. This is "Gap Year". This topic is certainly not for this Sunday but take a glance to see it is OK or not and use it later.
Gap Year is a year in which students (esp foreign students, I''ve never seen VNese students like that) are completely free from their high school or university. They dont have to study, research anymore. There may be the entrance exam (to the university i.e) in front of them but they temporarilly forget them in order to join and enjoy a fully free year participating in some social activities, travelling, etc. And from that, they can extend their vision, have right desicions to further education, attitudes to their future life, self-train the independence, etc.
    What a meaningfull year
