I. Warm-up game (20’)

II. Free talk. Talk in pairs: (30’)
a. What is school violence?
b. How do you define a bully?
c. Have you ever been bullied by one of your classmates?
d. Have you ever BULLIED someone?
e. What are the reasons why people like bullying others?
f. What will you do when your children/brother/sister get into a FIGHT with his/her classmate?

IV. Sharing (in group of 5) (30’)
1. School violence is now involving many young students, including girls. How to cease this trend?
2. What would you do if you were the Ministry of Education and Training?
3. Given that you had a school-age child and you were afraid that your child may get some “troubles” with her/his classmates because of his/her weird hair color. What would you do?

V. Role play
In each group, we have 1 bully and his parent(s), 1 victim and his parent(s), and 1 teacher. Make up your own story to show the way you deal with the situation. How can you say when your child is a bully, how can you say when yours is a victim of school violence…

Food​

Part 1: Warm-up game : Whispering
Two teams standing in 2 lines. The host tells the first person in each line what she wants to have for dinner. Team members will whisper what they hear to the person standing behind them.
The team with the most correct answer will receive a prize.

Part 2: Bingo
Everybody tells the host one or some food related-word and then each member draw a table with 16 squares. In each square, you write one word. Then the host will choose 8 words. If you get 4 words in one line you say Bingo and you win.

Part 3: Free Talk

• What is the best and worst food you have ever eaten?
• What is your favorite food?
• Which one do you prefer, food cooked by your lover or by your family member?

Part 4: Cooking Vocabulary
Do the worksheet to know more Cooking vocabulary.

Part 5 : Activity “ SWITCH ”
Work in pairs. When the host says, “Start”, A will have to go to read the secret recipe and then go back to tell B. B will have to write down what he/ she hears. After 3 mins, the host will say” switch” and A will have sit down to write and B will have to go to read the recipe.
The game ends when all the team finishes the recipe. The fastest team with the most correct recipe will be the winner.

I. Warm –up game: Chain Fairytale
II. Discussion: (in pairs)
1. Have you ever had a one sided love? How did you convey your love to your lover?
2. Have you ever had a crush on someone?
3. Have your parents ever disapproved of any of your relationships?
4. How do you think about assortative mating?



III. Situations: (in groups)
1. You really love a person. Unfortunately, two of you are close friends and your dreamboat has fallen in love with other guy. Your dreamboat asked you to give his/her love letter to that guy. What would you do? Give that guy your dreamboat’s letter or throw it away?

2. Two of you are just normal friends. However, you loved that person for a long time and you didn’t dare to declare your love to her/him. One day, you decided to tell her/him your sentiment. Unfortunately, that day you also realized that your friend had affection toward other person. What would you do? Continue to tell her/him that you love her/him or just keep silence forever?

3. Both of you have loved each other for a long time. One day, you had a very big quarrel. You all tend to split up. Right this time, there is a very kind person declares his/her love to you. What would you do? Try to solve the problem and stay with your darling or make a break with him/her right that time and start a new relationship?

1. What do you and your family often do on New Year’s Eve?
2. On the first day of Lunar New Year, what are popular activities in your hometown?
3. Do you like going to pagoda to wish good things for your family on beginning days of New Year?
4. What is the meaning of Five-Fruit Tray? What are 5 fruits?




III. New Year’s Celebrations around the world (30 minutes)

In this activity, MC gives forth some pictures/clues about New Year’s Celebrations in several countries. The other members are to guess what the countries are.


IV. Animal-sign games (20 minutes)
This game is similar to a game of rock, paper, and scissors. Two teams face off and decide to become either “Dragons”, “cats”, or “tigers.” Dragons defeat cats, cats defeat tigers, and tigers defeat dragons.


V. Party + Lucky money as a small gift from GALEC. (10 minutes)
