Nếu bạn học FTU thì lên phòng đào tạo xin, có mẫu sẵn đấy
Lên nộp 30k thì sẽ có

Letter of Explanation about Education & Grading Systems ​

at Foreign Trade University​

December 1st, 2009​

Dear Sir or Madam:


On behalf of the Rector of Foreign Trade University (FTU), the Department of Training Management issues this document as an official explanation about some facts on the education system at Foreign Trade University.

1. About Program and Degree:
A regular, fulltime student at FTU is required to take a 4-year (8-semester) training program in order to finish his/her undergraduate study. When the student has successfully completed all the required courses and his/her graduation thesis, he/she recognized the title of “Bachelor of (name of the course)”.
2. About Grading System:
The grading scale is currently used at FTU is 10. There has not been any agreement between FTU and any foreign university about score conversion. Therefore, it is not appropriate to convert our grading scale 10 into a grading system of letters. However, based on the grading scale 10, a student’s study result is graded according to the following rules:
a) When the score of a subject is considered:
· Score below 5 means the student has failed in the subject
· Score 5 means the student has passed in the subject (he/ she has completed 50-59% of the requirement)
· Score 6 means the student has completed 60-69% of the requirement
· Score 7 means the student has completed 70-79% of the requirement
· Score 8 and above means the student has completed 80% or more of the requirement. This score shows that the student demonstrates advanced grasp of the concepts and methods taught in the courses.
b) When GPA is considered:
· Students with GPA below 5 are not allowed to graduate;
· Students with GPA equal to or above 5 but below 7 are graded as fair;
· Students with GPA equal to or above 7 but below 8 are graded as good;
· Students with GPA equal to or above 8 but below 9 are graded as excellent;
· Students with GPA equal to or above 9 are graded as excellent (with honor degree).
3. About Transcript:
The following notes are for the clarification of the transcripts issued by FTU:
a) Cre***:
· Courses are measured in cre***s, cre*** is equal to 15 class hours
b) GPA:
· For each course, a student at FTU is given up to 2 exams to pass. If a student cannot get score 5 or above in his first exam for a particular course, he/ she should take the second exam for this course. If he/ she cannot receive score 5 or above in this second exam, he/ she will have to retake this course.
· GPA is calculated as the average of the highest scores of all courses taken.
