Two diagrams tell we about lifetime of silkworm and how we produce silk cloth.

In diagram 1, we see that the silkworm’s lifetime begin from egg they lay on the leaf. After 10 days, silkworm larva come out from these eggs and they eat mulberry leaf to grow up. 4-6 weeks later, larva produce silk thread around them. This process last for about 3-8 day and after that, we have cocoon which shape like an egg. inside this shield, larva grow up and become morth after 16 days. They break these cocoon and live a new life. When reproductive season come, they lay eggs on leaf and a new life cycle begin.

Silkworm help us to produce silk cloth and in diagram 2, we know more about the steps of this production. Firstly, cocoon is selected and it is boiled in water. After this, we take cocoons out and unwind them into thread which can be 300-900 m long. when this stage finishs, this thread is twisted and bring to dye. Maybe we eave before dying. They are all stages in production of silk cloth.

The graph shows the grams of fish, lamb, beef and chicken which a person consumed per week in a European country in 1979-2004.

Overall, during this period, the consumption of chicken and beef had a substantial change contrast with the amount of lamb and fish used only had a slightly vary.

Specifically, in 1979, beef was the most common option to use, over 220 grams per person per week and chicken only located the third position with 140 grams. However, after 10 years later, in 1989, the consumption of chicken rose dramatically and equalled the amount of beef consumed, approximatelly 200 grams per week. The grams of chiken eaten had a significant increase, about 250 grams in 2004, meanwhile, beef decreased sharply to 100 grams per week.

Whereas, lamb was used popularly with 150 grams per person per week, only after beef in 1979. But the consumption of lamb reduced gradually during 25 years to over 50 grams in 2004. From 1979 to 2004, fish was the least common with 60 grams in 1979 and remained steady under 50 grams over this period.

    This ends my report.

The graph and the table below show the amount of water used over the world and particularly in Brazil and Congo.

The line graph shows the water consumption in three fields: Agriculture, Industry and Domestic from 1900 to 2000. In 1900, the water use in Agriculture was the biggest with 500 km3. This was followed by Industry and the number in Domestic field was the least. During the 50-year period from 1900 to 1950, the number slightly increased. In the next 50 years, the water use in Agriculture rose dramatically to 3000 Km3 in 2000, over 2 times more than the number in Industry. Meanwhile the number in Domestic use also rose steadily to 300km3 in 2000.

The second table gives statistic showing the water consumption in Brazil and Congo. In general, the number in Brazil was much higher than in Congo, 359 km3 compared to 8 m3 per person. The reason for this could be the irrigated surface in Brazil was 26500 km2, meanwhile the number in Congo was just 100 km2.

The diagram provides the lifetime of the silkworm and how to produce silk cloth.

There are four main stages in the life cycle of silkworm. First of all, the eggs are produced by the moths and after ten days, they become the silkworm larvas that eat mulberry leaf. This stage last up for 4-6 weeks until the larva produces cocoon of silk which gets around itself. It takes from 3 to 8 days for cocoons to enclose larvas and they live inside about sixteen days. After that, they leave their cocoons and become the moths and a new life cycle starts again.

The cocoon is raw material of the production process of silk cloth. After having been selected carefully, they are boiled in the water. When threads have been unwinded and spreaded 300-900 metres in length, they twisted together and they are dyed suitable colours. And they are used to produce the cloth in the weave stage. If the threads are not dyed before, after this step, they are brought to dye.

The graph describes the use of fish and some different kind of meat in European country between 1979 and 2004.Several trends are appearent. First, European are eating more and more chicken. Secondly, the consumption of fish and some different kind of meat have changed.
In 1979, the most popular meat was Beef. Over 220g were consumed each week. The use of beef had a fluctuation, by 2004, however, this had fallen drammatically to just over 110g - a 50% droped. Consumption of other meat such as chicken increased. The amount of chicken eaten growth from about 140g a week in 1979 to approximate 240g a week in 2004, overtaking beef in the between 1999 and 2004. Lamb consumption also considerable decline, dipping from about 150g in 1979 to near 70g in 2004. Remain is fish, it is the least common. The amount of this had gradual dip, from about 60g in 1979 to approximate 50g a week in 2004
Look graph, we can see the amount of chicken in 2004 was a 5 times as much as the amount of fish, over twice as much as beef, over third as much as lamb in 2004. Accompanying this change in the choice of meat was a decrease in the amount of meat consumed. In 1979, European consumer ate about 570g a week of meat. In 2004, on the other hand, this had less than 100g, to 470g.

The graph and table below shows the changes about water use worldwide and water consumption in 1900-2000.
firstly. According to the graph in 1900, Agriculture uses 500 km3 water with a slight increases over the 40 year period to 1940 until 1950. It was rises sharp a peak of 300 km3 in 2000. At the same time, since 1950, Industrial was increases significantly against the first year, with 1000 km3. On the other hand, Domestic being at that time the least water uses just to achieve levels 400 km3 until 2000. Obviously, from the table we can see that in 2000, the nuber of water consumption in Brazil was as large as than in comparison with Congo. Brazil figures 176 million people, average consumes 359 m3 water per person, irrigated land to reach 26,500 km2. whereas, Congo just to take 5,2 million people, consumes 8m3 water per person, so the number of irrigated land to appear 100km2.
