TOPIC 2: The graph below gives information on wages of Somecountry over a ten-year period. Write a report for a university tutor describing the information shown.

This line graph describes the growth of wages in Somecountry from year 1993 to year 2003.
The wages was quite fluctuated in general. The growth in wages started at 2% in 1993 and it increased rapidly to 4% in 1994. Over the next two years, there was a decline in wages when it went down to 3% in 1996. Luckily the wages started rising slowly to 4% in 1997 then it reached a peak sharply at 6% in 1998.
However, it tended to decrease in later years. There was a steep fall from 6% in 1998 to under 3% in 1999. The wages rose marginally between the years 1999 and 2000 before it reached the lowest point of just 1% growth in 2002. Since then there was a gradual rise in wages with year 2003 recording a percent growth of 2 points.
    This ends my report.

Em Vịnh nộp bài Speaking No2 : Sport and Health

    Part 1
Question 1 : What do you do to keep fit?
Well, i’m a sport man so i always use the proper time for my health. Everyday i get up early and run around my area about 2 kilometters. I think when we play sport we can improve our health and keep fit, but now when i have to work everyday about 8 hours per day, i’m litte busy so i can’t play sport usually. I think the students and survants should play sport for many benefit of our own health.

Question2 : are you good at sport?
Yes of course, im not too bad at sport. I can play badminton and football well. At the end of every week i attend in the football match with my co-workers in Long Bien stadium. In addtion, at the evening after the day of working hard i also play badminton with my friend in the park near my house. I think sport will not only improve your health but also many things. Last month I jointed in the badminton competition, the result was I got the silver medal, i feel so much confident and proud with my friends.

Question 3: What sport do you play?
I play many kinds of sports such as badminton, football and swimming. But I like football most because when you play football you can play with the teams. And when you play football you can learn how to move effectively and how to score a goal, how to get our target. Moreover, football is the king of game all over the world. So I think I like football much more any kind of sports.

Question 4 : What is the most popular sport in your country.
In my opinion, football is the most popular game in Vietnam and all over the world. People usually say that football is the king of game. In my country, there are numerous number of people play football. With me i often play football everyweeks with my friend, after that we could have a small party. I think it’s good if we have some prize for a football match, like a cup of beer, you will be more motivative. In my city, there are a lot of famous football team like Hanoi ACB or Hoa Phat Group. We can enjoy the special environment every Saturday in Hang Day Stadium or National My Dinh Stadium. In summary, i regard football as the greatest game.

Part2 : Describe an interesting competition or sporting event you have witnessed.
    You should say :
    - What the competition or sporting event was?
    - When and where it took place?
    - Who won?
    - Explain why it was exciting?
In my opinin, the most interesting sport event I have jointed in is the football match between my office with Long Bien Police department force. The match was hold on for the established anniversary of The supreme prosecution. It was took place of Long Bien Stadium with a lot of fans of 2 teams. I rememberd that the match was so tense, the police department force score a goal first. However, with the higher lever our player got 2 goals after and we won the match, consequently we took the medal. The football match between us not only bring a better health for us but also help us to gather and reduce the stress as well as had a little party. Next year, we will hold a tennis competition and i hope i could joint in and get the prize.

    Part3 :
Question 1 : what are the best way to keep fit?
In my opinion, the best way to keep fit is playing sport. Absolutely, you can improve your health, reduce your stress. Besides you can make friends with another, you can have the motivation because of competing with your rivals to get the prize. Such as when i study in Uni i often play badminton with friends, who win will get the beers. So i think playing sport is the most effective method to keep fit.

Question 2 : Do you think most people consider excerse a chore or do they find it fun?
For this issue, i have to sit on a fence. On the one hand, some people regard sport as the fun. Because they can improve their health and reduce the stress, feel more confident. As a result they can improve their working ability. On the other hand, some people say sport like a chore, they don’t like sport but they have to do it because they want to lose weith or reduce their diseases. Even for fun or a chore, sport is so good for us.

Question 3 : What is the most popular form of exercise in your country?
I think the most popular form of exercise in vietnam is gym. Because most people are busy with their daily routine, it’s difficult to spend 2 hours for a football match or go to the stadium to play badminton. So they just only use 1 hour for gym club. At here, people can do exercise and keep fit under the teaching of experts. Gym also cost people a reasonable price, so a lot of students and survants like gym. Whatever, with any kind of sports, exercise always good for your health.

    HEALTH
Question 1 : Do you think people in your country less health than they used to be?
Oh, it’s a really difficult question.I have to sit on the fence, on the one hand i think people now can receive more nuitrition from many kinds of food, so they will be stronger than others temporary mans in the past. On the other hand, people now acts less more than people in the past. Now people are not manual labours, they can use machine for doing everything they want. But it’s the reason why people become obese and have more disease like heart disease or vascular accident. So if people want to get a better health, they have to have a proper diet everyday combined with daily excercises.

Question 2 : How can we encourage people to stay healthy?
For this point, we should combine the role of family and society to encourage peole do more exercise everyday. Each school class should regard sport as the compulsory subject for passing or not. In ad***ion, each district of citizens should give the healthy test for their people, who fall will get the money punishment. So I think, when they don’t want to lose money they have to do more and more exercise, our society will become much more stronger because of healthy citizens.

Question 3 : Should the government intervene to force people to be healthier
For this target, we can make more advertisement which motivate peole do exercise. The government have to issue the policy to make peole play sport, such as regarding sport as compulsory subject in school and make it become con***ions to pass each class. Begin from the student and children, our next generation will have a habit of playing sport. As a result, our future citizens will be healthier and stronger.

Today’s low-cost airlines are able to offer fast and cheap travel. However, some people believe this is at a cost to the planet.
Suggest ways that governments and individuals could tackle the environmental impact of low-cost flights.

After over 100 years of research and development, aircraft has become such important mean of transport and is being used widely all over the world. The competitions in aviation are more and more fierce so many airlines have to offer various cheap flights to attract more customers and cut costs. However, this could affect negatively to our living environment. This essay will analyze the issue and give some solutions for it.
With low cost airlines flying us around for a fraction of the usual cost, people are taking more flights than ever. Instead of getting a train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city, many prefer the quicker and cheaper two-hour plane journey. Nevertheless, planes release greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, soot and other pollutants into the atmosphere. This is one of the reasons that cause the global greenhouse. In fact, researchers say that one return plane trip from Scotland to Florida produces the same amount of pollution per passenger as the average British motorist does in a year. Firmly, air passengers think that they are saving their money by ordering low-cost flights but they should be charged higher fares for the pollution caused by planes.
To deal with the environmental problems that low-cost flights have caused, the first important thing that governments should do is to invest more money in researching and developing the new-generation planes which use eco-friendly fuels or energy. Moreover, governments need to give effective policies that encourage individuals to take alternative means of transport where possible to reduce the number of flights. These will help to cut down a large amount of emissions released to the environment.
In short, I am convinced that low-cost flights are causing bad effects to our environments. Therefore, governments and individuals should have more knowledge about this issue to protect our green planet, our home.

Ôi chị ơi, e làm nhầm phần education rồi:((. e cứ post bài cho chị trước, lát sau e gửi bài kia vậy:((
    Part 1:
    1. Do you work or are you student?
Well, I am a student studing in National Economic of University. Do you know,When I am a child I want to make so much money to help my family so I chose this university. May be you don’t know, to become a member of this school, I studied so much and sometimes I wonder to give up my dream. But now, when I feel so proud of passing the exam, I realise I have a perfect selection.
    2. Why did you choose that coure or job?
Well in general, I would say that National Economic of University is well known as harvard business school in Viet Nam. IT is not only famous but also has many the top of professors in Viet Nam in business. So, it is really a good enviroment for me to study and have a good job in the future.
3.What is the most difficult thing about your study or job?
Of course I think every body always have difficulties when we begin studying in University. And I amn’t except…..Do you know? When I am in secondary school, I have to study the subjects needn’t to learn by heart so much but in university, I must read so much documents so I always skim and scan, it is really difficult for me to improve this skills.
    Part 2:
    Describle your dream job?
Well, Up to now, I always dream to become as a successful business woman. I think that it need so many qualifications such as law certification, business certification.....even I need to have many experences and a large relationship. Wow, I will have so much work to do, sometime I meet customer , and try to build up a long relationship with many customer , it will bring to my company many contracts. So, my salary is will be higher. I think that it is not easy to have success from the first step. I am a woman so how I can have balance job and my family. The job is so busy, needs to be sensitive to find a new way for company. You know, my father is a bussiness so I always want to have the same job as my father.
    Part 3:
    1. Do you think science subjects are more useful than arts subjects?
Well. I don’t think so. We can’t live without science and art. All subjects give us together more knowledge in our life. There are many people are good at science but they know nothing about art. Life is mixed many thing so we have to study all subject to increase knowledge.
    2. Are student mature enough to choose what to study themselves or should their parents decide for them?
Well, To have a good choose, although we are very mature but we still need have some advices about parent. Sometimes, we can have a good ways but some times, it brings to us many bad results. Our parent bring us up , they understand what we need to do so if we decide some thing we should choose what to study and ask parent about this.
    3. In your country, does having a university education help you into a better career?
Well. To have a good career, we can have many qualifications. Studing in university is not a best way to have a success in the life. In my country, there are many people have good career needn’t to have university certifications. May be, we need to have also lucky in our life
