"Like to" & "Like V+ing", "Lover" and "boyfriends/girlfriends". Is there any differences ?

regarding to the like-to or like-ing term, didi explained 100% correctly and it would be the best answer ever.
regarding to lover and boyfriend/girlfriend usage. in general meaning, it concern about someone who love another one. on the other hand, lover is used widening as a phrase. eg, redrooster in my erea using "chiken lover" as their ads.
Moreover, when ppl try to mention about a couple, its obsolutly cannot use "a BF/GF". it must be "a lovers".
according to my experience, theres definitely no ***ial meaning here! i mean both GF/BF and lover. theres a word called "*** partner" which concerning about 2 ppl who only meet each other juz because of *** behavior. back to our problem, BF/GF and lover totally mention about "love" relationship. (ofcourse ppl could have *** when they are in love, but its not wut these words mention about). eg, he''''''''s my lover ---> its not mean that hes my *******, whenever i want to make love, i call him and do it, and kick his bott out of my house right after i finish and feel satisfy about *** !!!
finally, BF/GF all mention about love relationship, not friendship. ppl dont use it to talk about friendship. they jus say "hes my friend" not "hes my boyfriend" (otherwise they must be jking). Consequensly, there is no voicestressing in "friend" as far as i know and i have never heard any ppl speak like that. except "is he ur boyfriend? "

Hi all
I would like to add more information about lover and boyfriend/girlfriend. Based on the reality, I want to share about this.
After the class, I saw my friend sitting outside. He was waiting for his girlfriend. I supposed
I asked him:" who are you waiting for?" (kuka sina odotat?)
He said: " my girlfriend" hihihi ( Minun ystavan tytto)
I asked: ''why girlfriend, not lover?" ( I said this because they live together for about more than 2 years) ( Miksi ystavan tytto, ei rakastaja?)
He said: " because we are not engaged"
......................................
So I may have conclusion about how to use boyfriend/girlfriend and lover
How about you???
Do you have any more ideas?

according to me,
lover has a bad meaning when someone gets married but he/she still has relationship with another one like marriage.
boyfriend/girlfriend I think it depends on our usage. One point i''m sure it ''s not used for someone who doesn''t get marriage. That''s diffence
between 2 words.
