1 subject khó nhằn. Mong giúp đỡ

Topic: Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendantéZé?s past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accuses of the crime.

Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case.
    Do you agree or disagree?

    [+ agree:
    - the Jury might know better about the actions, the reactions of the defendant before similar situation so that they can give a better decisions about the crimes or let the defendants go free.
    - The Jury could know better the defendant characteristics, their social behaviors so that the time they spend to understand the defendant shall be minimize and save time, save money at the court. They shall not be allured by the words of the defendants
and understand what stay behind the appearance of defendants.
    + dis:
    - Before the court say that the defendant is guilty, the defendants still have the citizen rights, nobody could reveal their past until they are allowed to do so.
    - The Jury might be affected by the past of the defendent.May be some of the jury might have bad or good experiences about the actions of the defendants and they might pay attention too much to that point without paying much attentions to the recent actions of the defendants. Therefore the decisions they give out could be bias and not correct
That''''s my idea, I think as I am not living England or US so that topic is also difficult for me
