2 Ph.d position in the area of security in wireless networks at Swiss Federal Institute of Technolog

Prof. Jean-Pierre Hubaux will hire one or two PhD students in the area of security and cooperation in wireless networks in Fall 2008.

Skills:

* Very good knowledge of written and spoken English (the knowledge of French is not required)
* Strong background in networking and (possibly) in security or game theory
* Very good analytical skills
* Good knowledge of C, C++, and MatLab

Education: Master''''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communication Systems, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent preparation) or 4-years Bachelor''''s in one of these areas. Applications from students holding a Master''''s in other disciplines such as Physics can be considered as well.

The research projects will mainly revolve around the topics described in the upcoming book "Security and Cooperation in Wireless Networks".
