Ambassador M.S: The relation exchanges between Vn- Japan has been history about more than 400 years which has developed well, within 35 years so far. As from after 1986, when Vn has carried out an innovative line, relation cooperating between the countries. Remarkably in the economic field, was developed strongly.
I think that nowadays, all of the fields such as investment, trading or cooperation ODA that Japan has been one of the most important partners of VN.
Furthermore, exchanges between leaders of the two countries also become closer in the recent years, showed by a official visit to Japan of the Prime Minister of VN *************** (10/2006), the visit to VN of the former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe 11/2006 and the most recently is the national level visit to Japan of President ***************** 11/2007.
