5 PhD scholarships in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology in Pavia

The Institute for Advanced Study and the University of Pavia organize a PhD program open to students of any nationality. The program will include lectures on topics that are relevant for the research projects developed in the Centre.


For the academic year 2008-2009, five fellowships are available to be used in one of the following laboratories:



Bacterial Genetics: Prof. A. Galizzi, Dept Genetics and Microbiology

Structural biology and biocristallografy: Prof. Andrea Mattevi, Dept. of Genetics and Microbiology

Pathologies of protein folding: Prof. V. Bellotti, Dept. of Biochemistry

Bioinorganic chemistry: Prof. L. Casella, Dept. of Chemistry

Protein engineering: Prof. E. Gherardi, Dept. Experimental Medicine
