    Myself
I am a hardworking person. I was always a studious student before. At present, when I am an employee, my boss and colleagues are sure about this. I am rarely absent from work. Once time, after staying in the rain, I caught a cold. However, I still went to work because I though that my company needs me and if I am absent, the work is more difficult to carry out. Moreover, although without my boss?Ts request, I am ready to work overtime in order to finish my work as soon as possible. My friends said that ?oWhy do you relax and forget your work for a while?? Nevertheless, I can not because I will feel fidgety if my work is not complete. Sometimes, my life may be too busy, but I am proud to be myself and certainly, I still do not forget my free time for my lover, my family and my friend. I love them very much.
    My ideal English teacher
I do not know what you think about an ideal English teacher. With me, my favorite English teacher was Mrs. Quy, who was my teacher of primary school. You can think that an ideal English teacher must be creative, insightful, and informative. However, I admire her because not only these but also Mrs. Quy is a first teacher who showed me English is a wonderful language. At the first time, I have learnt English, I was afraid. I thought that it was too difficult to study. Nevertheless, Mrs. Quy improved my interest with English through her teaching method. She helped us to remember new words by playing games such as: crossword puzzle, finding word, etc. At the end of course, we even joined a play. Wonderful! After then, I have really seen English is extremely interesting and learning English is not the torture. Up to now, I still remember and respect her very much. Well, I think that, in my life, I have been lucky.

IN MANY COUNTRIES, CHILDREN ARE ENGAGED IN SOME KINDS OF PAID WORK. SOME PEOPLE REGARD THIS AS COMPLETELY WRONG, WHILE OTHERS CONSIDER IT AS VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE, IMPORTANT FOR LEARNING AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITIES. DISCUSS.
The issue of children doing paid work is a complex and sensitive one. It is difficult to say who has the right to judge whether children working is ?owrong? or ?ovaluablê?. Opinions will also differ as to ?olearning? benefits: no doubt teachers and factory owners, for example, would have varying concerns.
An important consideration is the kind of work undertaken. Young children doing arduous and repetitive tasks on a factory production line, for example, are less likely to be ?olearning? than older children helping in an old peoplê?Ts home. There are health and safety issues to be considered as well. It is an unfortunate fact that many employers may prefer to use the services of children simply to save money by paying them less than adults and it is this type of exploitation that should be discouraged.
However, in many countries children work because their families need the ad***ional income, no matter how small. This was certainly the case in the past in many industrialized countries, and it is very difficult to judge that it is wrong for children today to contribute to the family income in this way.
Nevertheless, in better economic circumstances, few parents would choose to send their children out to full ?" time paid work. If learning responsibilities and work experience are considered to be important, then children can acquire these by having light, part ?" time jobs or even doing tasks such as helping their parents around the family home, which are unpaid, but undoubtedly of value in children?Ts development.

IMPROVEMENT IN HEALTH, EDUCATION AND TRADE ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF POORER NATIONS. HOWEVER, THE GOVERNMENT OF RICH NATIONS SHOULD TAKE MORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HELPING THE POORER NATIONS IN SUCH AREAS. TO WHAT EXTENT DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?
In balancing the world economic growth, the underdevelopment of the Third World Nations have been drawn to the attention of the developed countries of the Western. Thus, governmental policies and interference in the agricultural business of the poorer nations were made to secure their dominant source of the economy. Many discussions among economists and politicians also put their focus on the other aspects. That is, to improve the health, education and trade for the developing countries. However, the improvements cannot be made by these countries, but more external assistance and aids should be done.
Because of the shortage of food supply, the people in poorer nations (i.e Africa) are easily prone to disease, hunger and death. When natural or environmental diseases happen, they are threatened with their lives. Education cannot be well developed as a result of frequent droughts, famines and disease spreading. The other countries, while emphasizing on the development of agriculture in the Third World, cannot really give the solution to the cyclical problem which has been existing for a long time. It is time to consider the consequences of all the waste of efforts in trying to help the economic growth of the Third World and to think from the other perspectives. The richer countries have the power to rebuild the Third World by taking care of the essentials â?" health, education and trade. More aids for providing the medicine, educational needs and materials can be done by the richer countries. The assistance of trade and developing business in the poorer countries also can be of a great help to the poorer nations.
If the richer countries can be more serious about the essential issues of how a nation develops, and well consider the special situations and circumstances those poorer nations are facing, the improvements will be more efficiently made. The governments of developed countries are, in some ways, responsible â?" though not obliged â?" for the future of those developing countries.

HAPPINESS IS CONSIDERED IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE. WHY ARE THE DEFINITIONS OF HAPPINESS DIFFERENT? WHAT ARE THE FACTORS IN ACHIEVING HAPPINESS?
Happiness is very difficult to define, because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link happiness to wealth and material success, others think it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. Yet others think that spiritual paths, rather than either the material world or relationships with people, are the only way to true happiness.
Because people interpret happiness for themselves in so many different ways, it is difficult to give any definition that is true for everyone. However, there are different kinds of happiness for different individuals then the first step in achieving it would be to have a degree of self â?" knowledge. A person needs to know who he or she is before being able to know what is that makes him or her happy.
Of course, such factors such as loving relationships, good health, the skills to earn a living and a peaceful environment all contribute to our happiness too. However, this does not mean that people without these con***ions cannot be happy.
Overall, I think an ability to keep clear perspectives in life is a more essential factoring achieving happiness. By that I mean an ability to have a clear sense of what is important in our lives (the welfare of our families, the quality of our relationships, making other people happy etc. ) and what is not ( a problem at work, getting annoyed about trivial things etc.)
Like self â?" awareness, this is also very difficult to achieve, but I think these are the two factors that may be the most important for achieving happiness.

Describe your ideal English teacher. What is his or her most important characteristic?
In my opinion, Annie is my best English teacher. It is said that õ?oA good teacher is a good friendõ?, I absolute agreed with my English teacher, my big friend, Annie. When I was 7 years old, my parents took me an English course at children centre Hanoi. Like 20 others small friends, I visited English course three times a week with feeling of exciting, curious, enthusiastic õ?Ư Many questions were asked õ?oWhat is language? What is language? Who is foreigner?õ?. Hence, Annie came and showed me the best way to love English, my foreign language until now and in the future. First of all, Annie never lost her temper, she said that õ?oin class, temper plays very important roleõ?. As a result, she made our lessons, units more interesting and funny. On the one hand, Annie was an active teacher, she came everywhere, every child to show or answer all of our questions, I must say that she is a patient person (especially for children). On the other hand, she always wanted to learn further, her information was always updated and she tried to learn good and new methods for her lessons. Secondly, Annie wanted us to learn English with best ways, not only in class, but also playing outside. She encouraged us to talk more and more with foreigner, to make English club, to learn English in group, to sing English songs or to play English games as puzzle, find new words õ?Ư Consequently, she always said õ?olearning by doingõ?. *****m up, I love Annie very much, many years have gone, but in my opinion Annie was my best English teacher and I hope that, we will have many good teacher like Annie.
