The question if punishment should be fixed for each type of crime or not, has always been a matter of debate. Indeed, there are many arguments for and against for this view.
On the one hand, people in favor of fixed penalty argue that not only does it bring a reliable and effective mechanism to our society but also help to reduce the number of offenders. By this I mean that individuals could reconsider committing illegal acts when they are aware of the certain punishment they will be subject to. Thereby, this would result in potential lawbreakers'' dread. Besides, there is likelihood that criminals may be acquitted by cheating the court because the case and purpose of a violation sometimes is difficult to be determined correctly.
On the other hand, there are quite plausible reasons for opposing the idea of taking circumstance and motivation into consideration before deciding the level of punishment. There are, however, also strong reasons supporting this point of view. A good example of this is that a defendant who lives in extreme poverty could perpetrate unlawful act because of his family survival; hence, it should not considered to be a serious crime. Moreover, killing people in self-defense cannot be compared with that in revenge or for robbery purpose. Consequently, reckoning with situation and reason of a crime is a prerequisite for establishing and ensuring justice and equity.
All things considered, I am convinced that the criminal laws should be flexible rather than rigid entirely under some circumstances. Furthermore, the government could pay attention to provide a minimum and maximum for each penalty.

Modern life has brought about the fact that a great number of people stick their adult life to a passionate job. Therefore, job satisfaction has become the most important factor which makes officers devote their whole life. Nevertheless, it is doubtful whether employees satisfy with their working time in reality or not.
Fulfillment in career can be presented in different ways. To me, good salary and chance of promotion are two significant factors. It is obviously true that no one works efficiently without an appropriate salary. Whenever your remuneration is increased, you might work harder and try to show that you are deserved to a higher one. Furthermore, you will be, naturally, pleased if you are promoted to a higher position. I myself can be typical example. Last year, I was informed that I would become a member of marketing department. This, of course, made me enthusiastically work. Therefore, satisfaction in career is always an indispensible element that should be put into consideration before deciding to choose any job.
There is a fact to believe that some people have no passion and enjoyment for their jobs. It means they are not actually satisfied with what they are dealing with. A survey on 1000 workers in Britain shows that more than 35% of them do not like the field they are working in or think that the job is not much suitable to them. This reality lends itself to the fact that they are compelled to work due to being a breadwinner. In this situation, it is hard to estimate the quality or efficiency of working because they do not feel happy in their careers.
All things considered, I am convinced that job satisfaction is an important reason for choosing a job. It is recommended that managers should pay more considerable attention to working environment, more particularly, the willingness and happiness of their employees. So that all members of staff can ardently contribute to their companies.
(I dunt really think the 2nd question is answered well in my writing)

In recent years, governments of many countries have implemented a new policy in which the working life of employees can be prolonged for a few more years. It means that people spend more their adult life at work than before and job satisfaction - one''s feelings or state-of-mind regarding the nature of their work, has become a crucial element of each working individual.
In my opinion, there are 3 main factors influencing job satisfaction. First is the job itself. Only when an individual believes that the work he is working is important and that his tasks are meaningful does he feel satisfied with his job. Indeed, people feel happier and more comfortable when doing what they have passion for whereas people who get demanding jobs, especially the jobs they do not interested in, usually feel stressed out and discouraged. Another important factor is the working con***ion. Up-to-date equipments and facilities can create a tremendous effect on the satisfaction of the workers themselves. Supposed a person working in a poor-equipped situation, how can he devote to his job and fulfill his task? Last but not least, interpersonal relations also contribute to job satisfaction of an individual. The better relationship between colleagues is, the more pleased they feel with their work. Obviously, to coordinate in a perfect teamwork creates a higher level of job satisfaction.

A recent survey of job satisfaction taken in the USA shows that only 26% of questioned workers feel very satisfied with their jobs. The consequence of financial crisis means that few people can find a job really suitable for them. Worse still, they have to stand the poor working con***ion and labor relations, which lead to boringness and dissatisfaction.
However, I think it is possible to promote more job satisfaction in any job despite the fact that quite a few people feel unhappy in their work. If the above factors are implemented, the workers will certainly feel greater level of job satisfaction.
