The table summarizes data on the rate of consumer durables used in England from 1972 to 1983.
Television obviously was the most common option to purchase in UK, started at 93% in 1973 and 98% in 1983. In ad***ion, vacuum cleaner and refrigerator increased steadily, being 95% and 94% respectively in the early-1980s. Washing machine, on the other hand, was less common, but grew quickly from 60% to 80% in the end of the term.
Interestingly, the percentages of people used central heating and telephone was under 50% in 1972, but they roughly doubled to 64% and 77% in 1983- quite a significant growth. Dishwasher was presented to the market in 1978, people did not considered evidently about it, therefore till 1983 the figure was only 5%. In contrast, video recorder attracted 18% of customer when it first showed in 1983.
In conclusion, buying more useful facilities in some aspects is raising standard of living in UK.

The first table shows the reasons of the United King Dom visitor visiting foreign country as holiday, business, visit to friend and relatives or other reason from 1994 to 1998.

As you can see, the number of people visit abroad more and more increased. In 1994, there were 15,246 people went to oversea on their holiday but in 1998 the number increased rapidly to 20,700. Moreover, the total of people also rise from 22,072 to 28,828.
The second table describes the number of UK visitor came to many places all over the world from 1994 to 1998. As a result of the table, Western Europe is more and more popular. If in 1994 there were 19,371 people went to Western Europe, the number increased to 24,519 in 1998. In ad***ion, North American and other places also rise in the same period.
