"I will rent a bike and take my wife to the bench in the garden of our old university because it?Ts the place where our love began," says thirty-five-year-old Pham Tuan Anh.

Flowers and chocolate are the tra***ional gifts of lovers.
But we all have our own idea of a surprise.
"I plan to drive a pedicab decked in 100 roses to my girlfriend?Ts house," says Ha Noi National University third-year student Tran Ngoc Luan.
Some lovers share the choice of Valentine gifts.
They list all the gifts they like and choose that which most suites them both.
Some girls make the gifts ?" cards, scarves and even chocolate ?" themselves.
Unlike previous years when she provided her husband of eight years with essential accessories, this Valentinê?Ts Day, Thu Van plans a romantic gift.
"I will keep it a secret from him, but it?Ts a bath covered in floating flowers and surrounded by candles," she says.
With northern Viet Nam numb with cold discerning young men have chosen an especially appropriate gift for the girlfriends, a knitted woollen scarf.

The Take That shop in Hâ?T Noi?Ts Pho Duc Chinh Street is a familiar address for buyers of Valentinê?Ts Day gifts.
Customers can both design and produce gifts for each other.
"A twin scarf that costs VND200,000 is an ideal Valentine Day?Ts gift for winter, says Khanh Linh.
The shop?Ts products include bags, pillows, shirts or jackets carrying the embroided names of couples.
Forever on his mind
"As a soldier, I am rarely with my girl friend in Ha Noi on Valentinê?Ts Day," says Nguyen Thanh Long of Binh Thuan Province.
"So I made 1,000 paper cranes and wrote sweet words on their wings. I sent them to her three days ago. I hope they reach her for that special day."
The soldier also intends to telephone his girlfriend and sings her favourite Chinese song, Mice love Rice, for Valentinê?Ts Day.
What expense?
Mathematician Tran Dinh Quoc Dinh says: "I will send her pink tulips from California and will make a date with her via the telephone on Valentinê?Ts Day. "I will ask her to follow my instructions to a special place where I have booked a table with candles and a necklace that I know she likes.
"I hope she will be the happiest woman in the world."
Valentinê?Ts Day is not confined to the young.
"My wife has to cook all year round so we will enjoy dinner aboard a boat on West Lake," says fifty-three-year-old Nguyen Huu Quy of Ngoc Duong Street.
Reporter Thanh Tu wants a simple Valentinê?Ts Day.
"I want to be home earlier than usual to prepare a delicious meal for my husband and two children," she says.
