[AIESEC] I'm an AIESECer (^.

I am Lan Phuong, Vietnamese, 22 year old. Last summer, I took AIESEC internship for Social Entrepreneurship project in Johor, Malaysia. That was exactly what I want, to develop myself and to contribute a part for social activities. We delivered trainings for students to increase their awareness as well as ignite their dreams of Social Enterprise setting up. Through finding partner and raising fund for the project, for the first time, I made conversation with foreign businessmen to talk about the benefits, collaboration, and mutual support; recognized that I was representing our project, and it was my responsibility to bring something back for my team.

It was my birthday celebration with friends coming from all over the world, the moment I enjoyed the most among passionate, energy and friendly international students.

I had chance to travel to Melaka, a heritage city, discover Kualar Lumpur by my own, ate strange and unique cuisine, make friends with interesting people, and experienced the culture difference between Malaysia and Vietnam. I could feel their country development, and reflect on my life and my country. I cannot say that, this internship changed me to a total new person, but it did inspire me very much, encourage me to keep going on my journey. To be better me everyday.

I am an AIESECer.
