    <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Arial" id=quote>Trích từ:STOLEN PAINTING FOUND BY TREE[/QUOTE]
This sounds damn stupid but it?Ts only what I can think about. Was the painting found by a tree or was it found where a tree grew
    ------------------------------------
I would say: was the painting found next to a tree by someone or did a tree find the stolen painting? The second sounds odd but not impossible!

Outside of a dog, a book is a man''''''''''''''''s best friend. Inside a dog it''''''''''''''''s too dark to read
This literally means that aside from dogs, book is a man''''s best friend and it would be too dark to read (inside the dog). Pay attention to "Outside of a dog" and "inside a dog". Tricky, but hardly ambiguous.

    John: What did Linda say?
Mary: That man has got a gun
Just a wild guess, did Linda say "That man has got a gun" or is it Mary warning John of a foreseable danger.
