Student Life at U.S. Universities
Time: 14:00 - 16:30, July 23, 2008
Venue: 1st Floor, Rose Garden Tower, 170 Ngoc Khanh Street, Hanoi
Where do U.S. students live? Will I be able to join clubs? Can I play sports? How about cultural events? Who can help if I get sick or need extra help with my studies?
This workshop is designed for students planning to study at U.S. universities at the undergraduate or graduate level. Participants will gain a broader understanding of student life on a U.S. university campus and have the opportunity to hear about accommodations, sports, clubs, and other activities that might be available, as well as resources they may need. This workshop will be interactive with plenty of opportunity for participants to ask questions. Participants are encouraged to bring materials and information they may already have from the U.S. university they plan to attend.

The American Center (AC) of the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy, is seeking unpaid, part-time interns to work in the Center.
We are seeking 8 interns to work in the AC beginning in August 2008.
Job description:
Interns will have responsibility for:
- supporting AC staff with administrative work,
- briefing visitors on the AC''s services, answering simple reference questions, keeping records of incoming and outgoing materials, provide first-contact information about AC and its operations, keeping records on the AC''s visitors
- providing support in logistical arrangements for the AC''s events
- supporting preparations for U.S. Education Fairs and Exhibitions
- helping with other administrative tasks, as requested
Requirements:
- good command of both spoken and written English
- good communication skills, computer literacy (MSOffice applications)
- active, cheerful, interested in learning new things
University students are welcome to apply !
Term: 4 months beginning August 15, 2008

Mình vào website của trung tâm rổi, nhưng không có update các event và các chương trình trong từng tháng của trung tâm. Vậy cứ phải vào ttvnol đọc bài mới biết có hoạt động gì

Đâu có, họ có update trên trang web mà bạn, vào trang của trung tâm hoa kỳ, tìm cái menu các hoạt động dành cho công chúng ấy.
