    Hi,
I am sorry I have been out of town this past week, so I couldn''t find time to go online and keep this thread alive. However, I hope that you all keep contributing even though I am not online. Last week''s topic was fun, but I just couldn''t find time to express my point of view. Hopefully, I will find more time next week to discuss with everyone about this topic:
Do you think Vietnam should invest more money to train more and more athletes so that Vietnam will have a more defined and prominent position in future Olympic games?
    Thanks guys,
    GenDo

I think the government in Vietnam should support to Vietnamese athletes by not only providing them with more money, but also offering good training con***ions to them.
There are numerous amounts of sport lovers in Vietnam nowadays. As an evidence of this, Luu Huynh Duc has captured the heart of a generation. Believed it or not, whoever loves to play football, he or she still remembers how this star did play football, and how fair-played he was. As the matter of fact, they are willing to spend a lot of money buying expensive tickets to watch their favourite athletes playing their favourite sports directly in other countries. In the Olympic Games, I am sure that sport lovers in Vietnam will be disappointed owing to Vietnamese athletes do not play as well as they expect. Followed by a series of failures of Vietnamese sport steam in the Olympic Games, it is actually ironic to know that Nguyen Van Hung, the famous taekwondo in Vietnam, will come back our country with nothing. There is no hope left; all hope is gone. Although these athletes have tried their best to get Olympic medals, they couldn?Tt have their jobs well done. They feel themselves unhappy by betraying their fans?T feelings. In the long run, Vietnamese fans will not be ardent in fueling their sport steams.
As we have known that The United States, England and China are powerful countries. They always rank among the best in getting almost gold medals in The Olympic Games. A natural question I might begin with is, ?oWhy are foreign athletes better at playing sports than Vietnamese athletes?? The question is far from easy to establish. To answer this question, I have examined some causes on newspaper, TV, and other public medias. Professionals and officials who have eru***e knowledge of sports said that Vietnamese athletes do not have good training courses to improve their sporting skills. By the way, they also do not attend some special programmes in which they will be trained to adapt with different environmental con***ions such as climates, food, ect. Ad***ionally, the government in Vietnam does not upgrade new technologies to develop the quality of training courses. This means that sporters have no chances to promote their abilities; they try their best to practice sports though. Furthermore, if the government does not invest more money to train professional athletes, it shows that the economy of Vietnam will not be strong enough to raise Vietnamese sporting field to a higher level.
