Our topic this week is CHRISTMAS ^^

1. Share your knowledge on Christmas in other countries
2. In fact, Christmas is a holidday of foreigners, but recent years, Vietnamese people have also celebrated it. How do you think about this?
3. How do you feel as the Christmas season is coming? What do you like most in the Christmas season?
4. How do you celebrate Christmas? What do you do on this day?
5. Who will you spend this day with: family members, friends or your boy/girlfriend? Why?
6. Do you think this day is special to show your love to someone and why/why not?
7. Do you often give presents to other persons and be given presents by others on Christmas day? Which kinds of presents do you often give and be given?
8. Why do you send a gift to a person?

Report for Bingo meeting on 17th December 2011
Topic: Christmas


At 3.30pm, almost everybody was present. It was absolutely delightful that there were more than 20 members coming to our meeting today. In a very exciting atmosphere, we began our meeting with a small warm-up game. As a classic Christmas song named as Last Christmas resounded, every member had a pen handy and started filling in blanks on the lyric papers. Finishing this part, all members sang along this song together. It was so fun to DISCOVER some new hidden talents of our club! It was the first time Mr. T (pardon me, I cannot type his name since he always wants to keep his personal information confidentially: P) had revealed his voice HEHE.

The next part was the learning corner. We worked together to match words about Christmas with their equivalent pictures. With a really want – to – win attitude, the group consisting of Mr. Ha, Mr. T, Mr. Minh and some other members was the first one found the correct answer! And for the other who wasn’t the winner, we still studied some interesting new words, such as: crackers!

Afterwards, we divided into small groups and moved to discussion section. During 40 minutes of discussion following the topic, we shared enthusiasm and many interesting ideas. For us, it was so wonderful to see everybody being really excited like that. In the group 1, after discussion, all the gentlemen (single men^^) had some crazy ideas such as “sleeping together to come over this Xmas day”!! I bet this group had all sleep – deprived people, so they connected some things in their discussion to the word “sleep” as much as they could. (Hey, just kidding, please don’t think further

The final part was called “Yummy section”. We wrote our wishes for other people in our club on Christmas cards, and swapped them so that each member owned one card from another member. One funny card written by Mr. Ha for Ms. Thuc Anh was “Having a baby soon”. Well, perhaps Ms. Thuc Anh and Mr. Minh will think about it later after this meeting. Who knows what the future is. Bingo club is just so spontaneous. We then had “Christmas cake” together.....by hand. This cake was brought by Mr. Ha....and he said he made it himself but everybody doubted about it. I am so sorry, Mr. Ha hehe. Anyway, many thanks Mr. Ha for that delicious cake.

One week prior to Christmas Day, we had fun and Christmas atmosphere together.
