The UEFA Under-21 Championship is one of the key tournaments for referees on the upward path in their career, and who will then go on to officiate at an even higher level. And in a continuation of UEFA??Ts co-operation with other Confederations, Felix will be joined by assistant referee Justice Yeboah from Ghana.

Location: the old St. Jakob Park stadium, located in the Basle suburbs, has been replaced by the first multipurpose stadium in Switzerland, which was inaugurated in March 2001.
Access: Bâle-Mulhouse airport is 10 km away. The venue has good public transport links, including a direct train stop.
Other information: a residence of 107 apartments for the elderly, shopping centre, numerous offices and restaurants form part of the complex.





Zurich: Hardturm
Capacity: 16,066 seats.
Location: the stadium is situated west of Zurich, about 5 km from the city centre.
Access: Zurich-Kloten airport is 10 km away. Tram, bus and suburban rail network links exist.
Other information: the stadium has been renovated on three sides in recent years. A new 30,000-seater stadium will be built by 2006.
Lausanne: La Pontaise
Capacity: 15,770 seats.
Location: the Stade Olympique is situated on the upper reaches of Lausanne, about 3 km from the city centre.
Access: Geneva??Ts Cointrin airport is 50 km from Lausanne. The Stade Olympique has excellent public transport links and is 15 minutes from the city centre.
Other information: In 1954, the World Cup quarter-final in which Austria beat Switzerland 7-5 took place here.




Geneva: Les Charmilles
Capacity: 9,010 seats.
Location: The stadium is located on Avenue de Châtelaine, in the area of the same name (Châtelaine), a 10-minute bus ride from the city centre.
Access: 5 km from Geneva??Ts Cointrin airport.
Other information: A new multipurpose stadium will be opened in 2003 and will also house a shopping centre and leisure facilities with underground parking, hotels, TV studios and offices.
