BMP-3 (cũng như BMP-1/2) là xe bọc thép chiến đấu của bộ binh. BMD-3 (cũng như BMD-1/2) là xe bọc thép chiến đấu cho quân đổ bộ đường không (có thể thả dù từ máy bay vận tải), nhje hơn BMP-3 (12,9 so với 18,1 tấn).
BMP-3 có thể bắn tên lửa chống tăng AT-10 qua nòng súng (không có tên lửa chống trực thăng). BMD-3 thì chỉ được trang bị tên lửa gắn bên ngoài, không bắn qua nòng được.

Đạn tên lửa dùng cho T-55

Since 2005 will begin to enter new BMD-4 IFV on arms of a parts Airborne troops. The main weapon of the BMD-4 IFV comprises of 2A70 100-mm gun/launcher which leads the fire as high explosive fragmentation round, so and 3UBK23-3 round with 9M117M1-3 Arkan (this means "lasso") guided missile.
The 3UBK23-3 round with the Arkan 9M117M1 guided missile is intended to engage modern protected MBT with explosive reactive armour (ERA) under any course angle of the fire (M1A1 Abrams, Merkava-3, Leopard-2, T-84) and high protected MBT under course angle of the fire over 300 (Leclerk, M1A2 Abrams). Besides possible defeat small-size targets, slow-and-low flying target (hovering helicopters). Such powerful arms allows vastly to raise efficiency of the new IFV.

KBP also development of a family of rounds (3UBK23-1, 3UBK23-2) designed for firing from the T-55, T-62 modernize tanks guided weapons. KBP offers an automated fire control system and the following guided armament: the 100 mm 9M117M Kan and 9M117M1-1 Arkan missiles for the T-55 tank; the 100 mm 9M117M Kan and 115 mm 9M117M2 Arkan missiles for the T-62 tank.
Currently KBP is engaged with the development update Arkan for the 105-mm round for the L-7 type gun and for the 125-mm rounds.105-mm round for the L-7 type gun and for the 125-mm rounds.
Tanks modernization through the use of the guided weapons with the automated FCS
Modernization to the tanks can be realized through the improved day/night FCS integrated with the guided armament. KBP is engaged with the development of such FCSs intended for modernization to the T-55, T-62, T-72 tanks that so far comprise the significant part of the tank park worldwide
The T-55, T-62 tanks modernization.
To modernize the T-55 and T-62 tanks, KBP offers an automated fire control system (same for both tanks) and the following guided armament:
õ? the 100 mm 9M117M kan and 9M117M1-1 Arkan missiles for the T-55 tank;
õ? the 100 mm 9M117M kan and 115 mm 9M117M2 Arkan missiles for the T-62 tank.
Components of FCS:
õ? a sighting-and-quidance unit with two-axis stabilization of line of sight;
õ? a laser rangefinder;
õ? a ballistic computer with a sensors systems;
õ? fine gun stabilizer;
õ? test-and-control equipment.
Application features:
- 2-3 times increase of the effective firing range through the use of the guided missile;
- firing by the guided missiles on the move (jamming con***ions included);
- a significant reduction of the first shot pre-firing time and target engagement time;
- simplification of the gunner''''s work;
- installation of the automated FCS on the tanks and the use of the guided ammunition require no adaptation of the guns and result in no changes of the tanks exterior.
The modernized tank outperforms the conventional tanks in combat characteris-tics and can reliably destroy the targets like the M1A1 tank at ranges of up to 5 km.
The computer simulation of standard combat battles on plain-desert territory demonstrates that with the automated fire control system and the guided armament the tanks combat effectiveness is improved by 2.4-3.6 times.

Modernization of rounds with the guided missiles
To improve combat effectiveness against modern and future tanks, the 100õ?"115 mm rounds with the 9M117 guided missile are subjected to modernization. The works resulted in the development of a family of rounds comprising the 3UBK23-1, 3UBK23-2, 3UBK23-3 designed for firing from the T-55, T-62 tanks guided weapons and from the BMP-3 IFV.

The 9M117M1-3 Arcan rounds can reability destroy tanks (such as the M1A1, Merkava-3, Leopard-2, T-84), that are the basis of the tank parks in the most advanced countries, at course angles of more than 30°. The engineering solutious realized in the Arcan are used to update the 125-mm rounds. The weight-and-size dimensious of the 125-mm round are analogues to the series-produced round. Its operation and feed into the loader are similar to those of the series-produced version.
Currently KBP is engaged with the development of the 105-mm round for the L-7 type gun.
The Bastion guided weapon system
Desidgned to improve combat characteristics of the T-55 tank and to destroy the following targets by the guided missile at ranges of up to 4000 m:
õ? modern tanks equipped with ERA;
õ? small-size targets such as bunkers, pillboxes, entrenched tank;
õ? slow-and-low flying targets like helicopter.
The system comprises:
- the 3 UBK 10M-1 one-piece round with the 9M117N guided missile;
- a sighting-and-guidance unit with a built-in laser guidance system;
- a voltage converter;
- test-and-control equipment (installed in a test vehicle).

Này thì cải tiến hay tận dụng

Ý kiến các bác nhiều quá. Em cũng chả biết đâu mà lần. Theo em, truơc mắt lắp cho mấy con T nhà ta mấy cái "điều hoà nhiệt độ" cái đã, chứ để anh em lính tăng trong lúc tập luyện khổ quá. Ngồi trong xe như cái lò thiêu, đã thế khoang lái lại chật chội. Cứ mỗi lần "đề pa" tăng là khói đen mù mịt, chưa kể lúc bắn đạn pháo thì khói ộc vào ..... Làm lính xe tăng đời cũ, đúng là sức khoẻ phải trên loại A.
Còn về phần cải tiến, thì nên chú trọng hệ thống ngắm bắn nhất là băn vào ban đêm, thay thế động cơ, và nếu có thêm xèng thì nâng cấp giáp tăng sống còn. Nếu có chiến tranh thật, thì cũng nên mua vài tăng đời mới để chẳng may có đánh giáp lá cà tăng với tăng hay tạo thành lá chắn hoả lực "công phá thô". Khi đã tạo được "Khoảng trống hoả lực" các con T54/55 đã đuơc nâng cấp chỉ có nhiệm vụ cùng bộ binh đột kích giải quyết chiến trường.
Gì thì gì, chứ vào thực tiễn chiến đấu nhiệm vụ trinh sát và pháo binh rất quan trọng. Chúng ta không mạnh về không quân cường kich nên pháo binh và xe tăng vẫn còn chỗ đứng quan trọng. Nên ngoài nâng cấp xe tăng chúng ta phải có hệ thống phòng không và pháo binh mạnh. Không kẻo chỉ chú trọng vào tăng để mấy con "bà già" luẩn quẩn trên đầu xơi hết tăng. 

em vừa xem kênh OTP 1 của Nga thấy có giới thiệu một loại súng chống tăng có khả năng bắn xuyên giáp ERA, vì ko hiểu tiếng Nga nên chỉ xem được hình và example và kết quả các vụ thử, quả đạn bắn vào giáp có 2 lõi có dạng đầu nhọn như cây kim, lõi thứ nhất bắn văng mẩu "gạch", lõi thứ 2 tiếp tục bắn xuyên qua vỏ phá huỷ xe tăng, bác nào có thêm thông tin về cái này ko ?
