Học ở Khoa tiếng Anh trờng Đại học Ngoại thng không những bạn đợc học tiếng Anh thng mại mà còn đợc học các môn nghiệp vụ (business) khác nữa nh Kỹ thuật Nghiệp vụ Ngoại thng (Technique of Commerce), Thanh toán Quốc tế (International Payment), Luật Ngoại thng (Law applied in Foreign Trade), Vận ti và bo hiểm quốc tế (International Transportation and Insurance)...

Hớng dẫn làm bài
A. 1. passed (cấu trúc câu với "if only + động từ + ed)/study (động từ trong mệnh đề "if" của câu điều kiện mở )
2. were/would apply (quy tắc dùng động từ trong cấu trúc câu gi định
3-4. has been discussed and looked ((nghĩa văn cnh của câu đòi hỏi phi dùng động từ ở thể bị động )/ suggest/ (should) take (sau động từ "suggest" động từ V2 ở dạng nguyên thể không có "to" hoặc "should + động từ nguyên thể)
5. have/serviced (trong câu này có hai mẫu kết hợp với nhau: Mẫu thứ nhất là : had better + động từ nguyên thể không có "to", do đó ta có "you'd better have". Mẫu thứ hai là : to have smth done by smb, do đó ta có "have your car serviced")
6. spending (mẫu : worth doing smth"/has been (for ages") chỉ một giai đoạn dài tính từ trớc cho tới nay, do đó động từ phi ở thời hiện tại hoàn thành)
7. was being built (đang đợc xây dựng tại thời điểm tôi ở đó, một thời điểm trong quá khứ)/has not been finished (tính cho đến nay vẫn cha hoàn thành: thời hiện tại hoàn thành, thể bị động)
8. standing/waiting (mẫu câu với động từ 'see": to see smb doing smth)
9. finding/took
10. had known/ would have applied (câu điều kiện đóng, quá khứ).

Thực hiện hai bớc:
1.. Đa tân ngữ lên làm chủ ngữ
2. Đổi động từ chính thành: be + V ở dạng phân từ quá khứ. Chú ý thời của động từ, thể hiện qua động từ "be".

Bài này đòi hỏi thí sinh phi hiểu nghĩa văn cnh, vì phần lớn những từ phi điền vào không phi do đòi hỏi của ngữ pháp mà là do đòi hỏi của ngữ pháp mà là do đòi hỏi của nghĩa từ vựng, nghĩa mà từ điển vào làm trọn nghĩa từ vựng của câu.
Ví dụ: Đôi khi chụp nh bị hỏng vì mặt trời ở phía trớc mặt ta (số 20), đáng ra nó phi ở đằng sau lng ta (số 21).

Trong bài tập này thờng có ba từ mà nghĩa của chúng thuộc cùng một chủ đề. Ví dụ câu số (52) có ba từ chỉ bộ phận c thể : elbow (khuỷu tay), wrist (cổ tay) và knee (đầu gối). Riêng từ "muscle" thuộc về loại khác : bắp thịt. Hoặc câu 55 có 3 từ cùng có nghĩa na ná là : kinh tởm, kinh khủng, d dáy (disgusting, horrible, filty), riêng từ "humourous" lại có nghĩa là "hóm hỉnh"
Để làm đợc bài này thí sinh phi có vốn từ vựng tng đối phong phú.
