Easter sucks, no egg for me
Tweety, I'll hop up to Toronto and then go home for the summer. Prolly will stop by Chicago for a few days since my friend and I have been invited. If that happens, would you mind being a guide for a short while, say, a day ? We'll invite you to dinner. I'd also love to meet a Ams fellow very much.

Longatum, not a problem, but i don't know if i'll still be here by the time you arrive. The next few weeks will be a rush cuz we're out pretty early. Next week is our last week of classes, the following week will be reading days and finals until May 6th. I'm leaving school on the 8th. Just tell me 'bout your plan so we'll see if i'm gonna make it (( :

tweet, I really can't know for sure, but my guess is we would, if things go well, be there around early June. Many obstacles still indeed remain. Since I'll be flying back to the US from Canada, I will have to make sure the "automatic renewal of entry visa" thing is still in effect, otherwise, just like my friend, I'd need a new visa, which proves so far impossible to obtain from anywhere except Vietnam.
anyway, I will for sure write to you as soon as we have our plan settled down. I guess you're not going home for the summer. am I right?

Longatum: I'm going to D.C for the summer, making some bucks so I can travel home over winter break. It seems like I'm missing a chance to meet an "Ams fellow" > -:, too bad! For sure I'll be gone by May 8th. And you will not be here before June, right? Why do you need to go back to the U.S from Canada? Why ain't you just flying home from there? I don't think that visa is automatically renewed. Whenever your visa is expired, you need to go back to the U.S Embassy in Vietnam to apply for a new one. That sucks! Was that Hương at UChicago who invited you? Can I have her YIM Id?

so, no luck in meetin with you. I'm goin to Toronto because my friend's up there. My friend's friend, who is a Chicago resident but currently attending the university of Toronto, invited us to visit her family. Well, I'd love to see you, but guess we can certainly meet later.
There used to be a regulation here in the US (I don't know if you know of it or not) that if a F-1 visa holder travel to Canada or Mexico for a short-term visit (within 30 days), he/she can return to the US without obtaining a new visa. but again, I'm not sure if it's still in effect anymore. If it's not, then I won't go to Chicago. Getting a new visa is not just too troublesome, it's simply impossible since the US embassy in Canada no longer allows third-nationals to renew F-1 visa at that post.
Have a fun summer @ DC. I used to know Huong's e-mail. Will look out for it and send it to you as soon as it's found.

Longatum: The "automatic validation rule" has stopped working a while after 9/11. You should check this again with the International Center at your school.

Longa, have fun at home. I'm so jealous , well, just a little bit, I still prefer winter than summer. I guess I may see you later. You know, I'd love to join the .....what do you call it...Ams annual students reunion? But they always hold it during winter break, right? Sounds like I'll miss it again.

Pretty good ! Havent talked to u for a while. How and where have u been, Tweety ? I'm having a spring break but kind of busy. I've recently studied my butt off for a couple of days. I really need to catch up with study ,esp my engr class that I havent studied since the first week. Alright, I gotta go back to study right now. Scorps, i was wondering what you've been up too lately. It's good that you're studying your butt off. It's time for me to do that too. I have only one more week, of classes I mean. I cant believe it! It went so quick yet so slow. I've just been to the grocery store to ask for some cardboard boxes. I'll pack my winter stuffs in there, and send them away this weekend. It's still so cold here today, which is ridiculous. I hate the Midwest weather. It was sunny and nice for a little while and have no idea where the sun's gone.
