This evening(7h30),my group of speaking English will meet each other in NGhia Đô park.Would you like to join with us?
To MCs: according to Nguyệt s'' opponion,we should have a small game lasted 3 minutes to introduce our self.Who know the most of names will be the winner.
To Ban Van NGhe( mr Phong) And we should give one lovely song to everybody and ask all of us to learn to sing at home.So the next week we can have a song to sing together.

The UNESCO Hanoi seeks to recruit a Communication and Information Programme
assistant. The strategic objectives of the Communication and Information
Programme of UNESCO Hanoi Office are promoting the free flow of ideas, universal
access to information and expression of pluralism and cultural diversity in the
media and world information networks. The priorities of the programme are on
activities and interventions aimed at strengthening the capacities of
institutions and individual professionals in Viet Nam, mainly through training
activities and support to development of policies and structures of media,
knowledge management and ICT.

Communication and Information Programme Assistant (temporary post)
A - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the overall direction of the Head of Office and direct supervision of the
Communication
and Information Programme Officer, the incumbent shall perform the following tasks:
I Provide support to the Unesco Hanoi Communication and Information Programme:
- Assist in organizing and implementing UNESCO programme activities.
Main area of work: Unesco Hanoi Communication and Information Programme (CI);
- Systematically monitor and follow-up the implementations of the programme
activities;
- Draft correspondence, memos, briefs and reports;
- Perform English-Vietnamese translation and interpretation as required;
- Provide secretarial and administrative support including filing, preparation
of the
administrative documents, etc;
- Perform other tasks related to communication and information as deemed
appropriate by
the Head of Office and the Programme Officer.
II Contribute to the external communications of Unesco Hanoi
- Assist the Programme Officer in drafting and implementing a media strategy;
- Conduct media research, regularly liaise with the media in Viet Nam and update
the list
of Unesco media contacts;
- Provide support to management of the Unesco Hanoi website by producing,
e***ing and
uploading online content (including English-Vietnamese translation of web content).
III Support to the Office documentation activities
- Oversee the Unesco Hanoi documentation centre. Register and classify all incoming
written materials and other information/ resource materials; Update the Resource
Room
(The Office Library) catalogue; Collect, classify and file media clippings;
- Assist the Project Officers in the preparation (liaison with printing
companies) of
general and technical publications of the office in cooperation with administration
section;
- Produce a weekly e-mail update on office activities and events;
- Under the supervision of the Programme Officer, coordinate and organize the
exhibition
on the outdoor display.
B - QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A recognized university degree in relevant field, preferably journalism,
public relations
or social science;
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in media work in Viet Nam;
- Familiarity with the media landscape and common practices of journalists in
Viet Nam;
- Knowledge of gender issues is an asset;
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English;
- Fluency in spoken and written Vietnamese;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and general computer skills required,
a higher
level of computer literacy is an asset.
- Positive attitude and team-building skills;
- Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated and self-managing;
- Attention to detail;
- Sensitivity to political, cultural and national differences and adaptability
to multicultural
environments.
C- SALARY INFORMATION
This is a temporary position (max of 11 months) with the gross salary is US$
500.00 per month.
