    Everyday the world changes bit by bit. Each day new life is brought into the world, new technology is developed, and more jobs are created. These are just a few of the many changes that occur throughout the world on a daily basis. While it may be occurring at a slow pace there is another aspect that is changing the word. That aspect is a work-life balance.
    Work-life balance is what is known as the balance between work and life. Until recently many businesses seemed completely unaware that there was even a connection between the two, but that is slowly beginning to change. All around the world more businesses are realizing the connection between work and life and the impact it may have on their business.
    Many businesses used to focus on the theory that their employees must devote their work time to their work and work alone. It was often unheard of for employers to allow their employees to leave work due to unexpected emergencies without making their unhappiness known. This is because many employers believed that their employees were hired to work; therefore, it the only thing that they should be doing. As the world is changing so is the way that many employers handle life situations with their employees.
    A common problem with work-life balance is that many individuals work too much. Many individuals are required to work long hours and others may even hold more than one job. This puts a time restraint on employees who need or wish to complete other activities. For this reason a negative atmosphere may be created in the workplace. To combat that negative atmosphere or attitude there are many employers who are beginning to educate themselves and their employees on work-life balance.
    Many employees working for a business that was previously centered on business ethics and making profits may wonder why there is a newfound interest in work-life balance. Employees who learn successful tools in balancing their work with the rest of their life are likely to be happier. This increased happiness can create positive work environments. Employers know that positive work environments mean better results and better results often translate into profits.
    Understanding and developing a routine centered on work-life balance is not only beneficial to employers. Employees, their family, and their friends can all benefit from a positive work-life balance. Once a balance between work and life has been established a working parent may be able to spend more time with family. Work-life balance is not just for individuals with families. Everyone can benefit from work-life balance because it allows individuals to spend more time with their friends or participate in fun activities.
    For many years now individuals have always known that they needed to balance work with the rest of their life, but employer participation is a fairly new thing. Whether a work-life balance program has been in place for years now or it is just starting up, there are a number of benefits to learning and understanding the connection between work and life.

    Achieving Work-Life Balance #5: How Work-Life Balance Is Implemented in the Workplace
    Around ten years ago the only goal of a business was make a profit. Almost all businesses still have that goal, but many have added another goal to their business plan. That goal is keeping their employees satisfied. This satisfaction is most often obtained by coming to the realization that all employees have a life outside of work that is just as important, if not more, than their career.
    Pleasing each and every employee is a difficult task; however, many employers have found a way to accomplish that task. By incorporating work-life balance into their organization many business owners have seen the increase in employee happiness and performance. The goal of work-life balance is to obtain a healthy balance between work and life. Even though each business is likely to implement their own style of work-life balance there are a few common practices.
    Long hours and overworked employees is a common scene in many workplaces. To prevent this scene from occurring there are many employers who are hiring two employees to fill one job. This practice is known as job sharing. Job sharing works by dividing work time, benefits, vacations, and pay between two workers. Job sharing makes it possible for employees to work a steady job while still being able to tend to their life outside of work.
    In ad***ion to job sharing, it is now becoming standard practice for an employer to offer their employees flexible hours. In many cases the hours that an employee would like to work are predetermined during the hiring process; however, they can also be established on a weekly or monthly basis. Not all companies, but a number of them are now allowing their employees to actually pick the hours that they work each week. In this situation, employees will signup to work a particular shift if they are available to do so.
    Working from home is another alternative work arrangement that enables more employees to be at home with their family. There are many employers who are only looking to hire at home workers. In ad***ion to full or part-time at home workers, it is possible for a tra***ional employee to occasionally work from home when it is convenient for everyone involved.
    Since a large portion of the working population has a family that they must care for there are family medical leave programs. These programs make it possible for an employee to take time off from work if they or one of their family members becomes injured or ill. Many employers will pay their employees for an agreed upon time and after that the leave can continue, but without pay.
    For parents the most popular way that work-life balance is brought into the workplace is through onsite child care. Onsite childcare, also known as daycare, is often provided free of charge by many employers. A childcare center is typically located in the same building, which allows parents to visit their children whenever they want to. Onsite child care is beneficial to all parents, but it is especially beneficial new mothers who are just reentering the workforce.
    Flexible hours, job sharing, onsite child care, and family medical leaves are just a few of the many ways that an employer can incorporate the work-life balance into their organization. When an employer first establishes a work-life balance policy it is likely that the policy will be put into place over a period of time. Once that business realizes the benefits of having a work-life balance policy it is likely that the above mentioned work alternatives will all be in place.

    Right now in this very moment, are you satisfied with your job? Work-life balance is a theory that is sweeping across the world, yet there are millions of businesses that have yet to adopt it. If you are unsatisfied with your current job due to the negative impact it is having on your life, you should consider seeking a job where work-life balance is used and appreciated.
    When seeking a career with an organization that values the work-life balance there are a number of things that you should take into consideration. There are a number of ways to go about determining whether or not the company you are interested in working for values the work-life balance. The two most common ways to gather information on a particular organization is before you being the application process or during the interview.
    There are many individuals who make the decision to outright ask an employer if they believe in the balance between work and life. This is a great way to get an answer to your questions, but it could also work to your disadvantage. Some employers, especially those who have not adopted the popular work-life balance theory, are likely to feel that you will not be a good job candidate. Many of these employers are still looking for employees who are willing to commit all of their work time to work and only work. If you are only interested in working for a work-life balance employer then asking the question should not have an impact on your employment.
    If you plan on directly asking an employer their feelings on the balance between work and life you will want to do so in the middle or the end of the interview. This will make it appear as if that is not the only reason why you are seeking employment with them. In ad***ion to sharing the same values, many companies want to hear that you have faith in their products being sold or services being offered. If you feel uncomfortable outright inquiring about work-life balance in the workplace then there are a number of other ways that you can go about asking.
    Since the work-life balance promotes working while still being able to enjoy life there are many businesses that make it easier for their employees to take time off from work. To determine if a company you are interested in applying to shares this concept you can ask about job sharing, family medical leave, alternative work arrangements, and onsite childcare. All of these features are typically found in a workplace that values life and family just as much as it does work.
    Whether you are a parent who is interested in spending more time with your family or you are an avid skier who is unable to hit the slopes because of your busy work schedule, there are ways to find a career with employers that values the fact that you do have a life aside from work. At the current time it may take research and time to find those employers, but as the popularity of work-life balance continues to expand across the globe it is likely that your search will get easier in time.

    Đây là anh rút kinh nghiệm từ thực tế, lý thuyết không phải lúc nào cũng đúng, nhất là khi dùng kinh nghiệm nước ngoài đưa vào môi trường Việt nam ( cho dù là làm tư nhân, nhà nước hay nước ngoài )

    @a T.A : thế tuần này beautiful Tuấn Anh làm Em xi anh nhá ! Em cũng mún giúp anh lắm nhưng em đang ngập trong bài tập nhóm, nhiều môn cùng gào lên 1 lúc Anh ơi thế kế hoạch hát hò thì bên Ent lo hay bên mình lo? lyric chọn bài nào đây? để em còn lo in ấn cho. Anh xem paper phát lần này chỉ đơn giản nêu topic thôi nhá, hay là khác? Nhanh nhanh để em còn chuẩn bị in, photo trước.
    @a. velocity: 18 cái mà anh xơi gần hết rồi thì anh còn lo j nữa, việc j chả xuôi, suy đi tính lại thì em mới chỉ làm đc có 6 steps, mấy cái còn lại thì đang luyện tập dài

    Các bác cho iem nghỉ phép xi-pam tí nhá, phải cật lực nâng cấp trình độ thôi, chứ không thì không theo được BE mất.....

    @ Mei: Rất thông củm với e Mei. Thi cho tốt. A đang 1 chân chạy Cholera, 1 chân chạy H5N1 còn đâu (the rest) sẽ tận tâm tận lực với e. A sẽ "in" và "ấn" lun.
    @ springlovely: đề nghị đưa pic lên để mọi ng vote xem có đáng mặt em xi ko nèo? ko là "rest 4 strong" đấy!
