II. Free talk – Work in pair (20’)
1. Have you ever experienced the following things? Do you feel positive or negative about them
+ Mobile phone
+ The Internet
+ Computer
+ Chat application (Yahoo, Skype, Paltalk, Zingchat, Facebook chat, ...)
+ Digital TV, 3D TV

2. What do you think about morden technology ? Does it make your life better? Make a list of 5 reasons you love modern technology.
3. Do you hate modern Technology? Why or why not?
4. Do you think you are a technie or a technophobe ?

III. Presentation (20’)

IV. Group discussion
(30’ for discussion and 30’ for presentation)
In groups of 4, discuss about these questions:
1. Do you think mordern technology is wasting or saving your time? list some disadvantages of modern technology.
2. People say that morden technology is destroying languages. Do you think so? What do you think about the way teenagers use language when they chat to each other?
3. Many people believe modern technology is anti-social. Is this right ?
4. Pros and cons of technology in education.

A technie is someone whose life is dominated by technology especially computers.
A technophobe is a person who doesn't like machines - especially computers.
