PRESENTATION SKILLS​

Part 1: Warm Up (10 minutes)Game “Never say Yes or No”Ö Each person will be given an equal number of cards (3 cards)Ö Everyone move around the room, take turns to ask others about anything such as hobbies, weather, famous people….. Ö If the interviewees give an answer with any words like “yes”, “no”, she/he must give you ONE card. At the end, whoever gets the most cards will be the winner. Part 2: Discussion (25 minutes)Ö Work with your partner (the person next to you) to list out as many features of a good presentation as well as a bad one as possible.Ö Invite 2 people to talk on characteristics that make a good presentation and 2 other people to talk on things making a bad oneÖ Each person has 2 minutes maximum to present their ideas Part 3: Game “ONE MINUTE ONLY” (15 minutes)Ö Think about whatever topic you’d like to discussÖ Each of you have only ONE minute to present that topic without umming (uhm, ahh, ehh).Ö Invite 5 volunteers to take turns to talk in front of people Part 4: Practices (40 minutes)Ö Work in groups of 5 members to present one of these topics
