    15:00 Sunday, Jan 20
EDUCARE English Center, 3B Ta Quang Buu St., Hanoi
    KARMA

Karma is the law of moral causation. The theory of Karma is a fundamental doctrine in Buddhism.
What is the cause of the inequality that exists among mankind?
Why should one person be brought up in the lap of luxury, endowed with fine mental, moral and physical qualities, and another in absolute poverty, steeped in misery?
Why should one person be a mental prodigy, and another an idiot?
According to Buddhism, this inequality is due not only to here***y, environment, "nature and nurture", but also to Karma. In other words, it is the result of our own past actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.

    I Warm-up game.

    II Free talk

    1. Name different types of religious views. And choose your own. Why?
    2. The center belief of Buddhism is: You will reap what you sow . What do you think about this?
Suggestion to think: You cannot escape the consequences of your actions. What you do comes back to you.
    3. If karma is true, you have *****ffer from your bad actions. Do you think that it is cruel that you have no chance to correct the mistakes?
    4. Some people say that we now live in misery because in the previous life, we have done many wrong things. What’s your opinion?

    III Role play
The fortune-teller says that, in order to save you from the bad deeds you created in your past life, you have to pay 20 million VND. Otherwise, you could lose the job, lose girl/boyfriend, money, happiness, etc.
Your mother agrees to pay such an amount. But you don’t. Try to convince her.
