I''m sorry for informing you this late of the writing topic. I just came back from a business trip.
The flow of the writing sessions will replicate your employment process, from the first step of applying for a job through to quitting/resigning. Therefore, the second session will deal with writing a cover letter to apply for a job.
We will discuss the following:
- What''s the mindset of the employer when he/she reads a cover letter
- How to begin a cover letter
- What to write
- Style and format
- Length
- Do''s and dont''s
-etc.
A small assignment will follow. Each group will write an actual cover letter for a real job advertisement.

Tuần vừa rồi chúng ta đã nói về chủ đề viết thư xin việc (cover letter). Cảm ơn mọi người đã tham gia thảo luận vui vẻ và xây dựng. Như đã nói trên lớp, tôi xin post lên đây các thư xin việc của 4 nhóm. Mọi người sẽ xem xét và bình chọn cho lá thư nào hay nhất.

Sau khi đọc những lá thư này, tôi thấy còn tồn tại nhiều vấn đề đối với kỹ năng viết thư của các bạn. Có lẽ buổi tới tôi sẽ dành ra khoảng 15 phút đê nói về từng vấn đề mà các bạn gặp phải trong các bức thư trên.
Nhân tiện xin bật mí là ban quản lý CLB đang xây dựng một chương trình sinh hoạt hoành tráng và hấp dẫn cho tháng 4 và các tháng sau đó. Chi tiết sẽ được tiết lộ trong vài ngày tới. Nội dung sẽ ly kỳ hấp dẫn tới phút cuối cùng.

Chương trình chắc mai sẽ được update. Như anh Quốc nói là rất thú vị .
