Thanks to our lovely Miss Tinh, we have the following agenda for April. Stay tuned for the upcoming topics and activities!
April: Recruiting month
". What should I choose my department to apply for? Why do I believe it is suitable for me? What are my strengths and weaknesses? Who is my greatest leader?"
I had made an answer for such questions for weeks. I didn''t know which words should be put in my paper, which ideas are familiar with the requirement of the employer. It''s hard for me and i believe that it''s also hard for every senior students.
Arpil is coming. It''s time for senior students preparing for their their graduation and finding thier own future. A question arises that what is their future jobs? What should they do to meet the requirements in order to get a good job?
Coming from our own experiences, We- FEC really symmpathise with your concerns and are willing to contribute our efforts to help you overcome it. That is why our club organise a set of speicial events during this month so-called: Recruiting month:
We want *****pply you helpful facilities to attack every tough employer''s demand through recommending you some tips of writing CV and answering the interviews. Finally, you will have a chance to assess yourself in final interview tests - the most wonderful event we want to offer you at the end of the month. The best candidate will receive the most surspring award. let''s come and enjoy it!
Our tip schedule:
4/4.09: . How to wite a good CV. How can we sell ourselves with the highest price?
11/4 & 18/4: Some tips for interview jobs. You will find the way to deal with the most foolish questions you have never met before.
Let''s make your selves and share your qualities with us.
25/4: the final test to find out the best candidate with the attendant of recruiters come from most competetive companies.

Helu FEC members,
I am a newbie though I have participated in 2 meetings of our club. Generally speaking, FEC can be proud of its gorgeous leaders who have come up with an amazing idea of a Financial English club. Thks alot!
Since everyone who joins here wants to improve English especially Financial English, it is highly recommended we have a targeted frame of running.
Regarding method, I myself prefer presentation and debate. There are 2 reasons:
1/ Presentation improves our self-learning and presenting skills which are of great importance to us.
2/ Debate sharpens our critical thinking as well as team work.
=>both help us to shine (in presentation) but not dazzle (in debate)
Regarding content, Finance is such a broad topic so I suppose Mr Quoc or Mr Son could give us a hand in this matter. Thing is I can talk about money, about benefit but sometimes they appear to be academic and hard to "digest" Therefore, am all ears n ready to contribute within my knowledge.
Just some of my quick comments. Feel free to "throw stone" for a better FEC!

Thank you for your valuable comments. We love to see contributions like this. Everybody''s is welcomed to share ideas and I hope to hear from more people.
Fully agree with you that presentation is an essential skill in finance. We certainly need presentations, but I think it would benefit us more to have games, workshops, guest speakings, etc. on top of presentations. The purpose is to make our sessions more entertaining. How do you think?
By the way, can you take care of the first presentation, next week? You''re in a good position to give us a headstart on this. Don''t worry about content or anything else, if you need help, you know where to ask
