Nhạc cụ trong chơi country thực ra giống với các nhạc cụ chơi nhạc bình thường : sáo, kèn, trống, bass, guitar....Ngoài ra những người chơi country còn hay dùng guitar loại 12 dây. Còn đối với các guitar loại bình thường thì chỉnh dây theo kiểu Open ( chả biết dịch cái này thế nào cho thoát ). VD như Open D : D,A,D,F#,A,D hoặc Open G : D,G,D,G,B,D. Nhân tiện, một cái Nashville guitar theo kiểu chuẩn thì có cách lên dây quái chiêu như sau: cũng là E,A,D,G,B,E - mi, la, re, sol, si , mi (nghĩa là y hệt như kiểu lên dây bình thường) nhưng cao độ của nốt trầm nhất Nashville guitar cao hơn đàn guitar bình thường 1 quãng 8 thế nên nếu khoảng cách từ nốt mì trầm dây buông tới nốt mí dây buông ở đàn guitar bình thường là 2 quãng 8 thì của Nashville guitar chỉ là 1 quãng 8 ---> âm vực hẹp hơn (tôi cũng chưa thử chỉnh đàn theo kiểu này để chơi bao giờ ) , còn cao độ của dây si (B) thì lại thấp hơn cao độ của dây sol (G) trước nó (điều này dễ gây bối rối thật). Các dây còn lại thì cao độ của dây sau cao hơn dây trước ( thường thì thế còn với một số gã ngông nghênh như Keith Richard của The Rolling Stones chẳng hạn thì trời biết)....

Hỏi cái này hơi ngớ ngẩn nhưng cái đàn nguyệt nó như thế nào ? (VN mình nhiều loại đàn quá, tui không nhớ hết nổi). Nếu nó tròn tròn thì là cây Banjo.
