When you hear about the creative man, what do you think ? He is different from everybody around him, or he is sometimes crazy . He often wear hiphop/rock - style clothes. He like what people hate and hate what people like, doesn''t he?

And what do you think about the "pro" person. Have you ever seen the TVC of Kotex? she is a business woman, so she is "pro"!! She always smiles and always finishes work on time. What she does is more sucessful than the boss ever expects.

There have a lot of different points between two images above. In my opinion, one company or one person should only have one core ability: professional or creative. He can not combine two skills, because it means nothing. But a lot of companies always use two skills at the core competency of them.

Never use two images which conflict each other in one picture. Because they cannot show anything except the doubt of the viewer.

    Do you think so?

Creative and Professional: You know? Sometimes I?Tm such a creative girl (though my creations are extremely silly), but I want to be professional! I?Tm studying 2 different majors but all of them have the same score: my future. I never meant to get both, but why can?Tt I? If you want to be creative or professional, you need to take time to get. Creation, obviously, most is inborn, then mature, through the life and living experiencê? .Pro, it?Ts a rule to get success nowadays, ?~cos ?ojack of all trades and master of nonê?, you know this?

Creativity is not "different from everybody around him" or "like what people hate and hate what people like" as you said. "Unique" and "creative" - They''re absolutely independent from each other
People is a complex set of behaviors and traits, not just one. We simply cannot rely on one measure as the determinant of our company potential
No conflict at all if you look at things the way they are
Oops, so many words, huh? Interesting observations ! .

In my opinion, what you mentioned about the contrast between the images of creative & prof is something that belong to the tra***ional view. Actually, this contrast is still existing nowdays in some cases but you can see most of famous and successful people who have a complex of these 2 images. Let''s say about Bill Gates, he can wear jean and T-shirt in front of a uni''s students but he''s always in a luxury suite to give an introduction about M.Vista to his clients (Bill, how can you be that rich ? ).
Another example is Mr. Kojumi (not as famous as Mr. Gates, right? ), he''s actually an artist when he played guitar in a charity concert but it''s sure that he will return to be the Japanese President when he say welcome to Mr. Phan Van Khai ! And that''s why the Jap people love him so much !!!

All you said is right! But I means that we are in business environment. We cannot show off two images in the same time and in the same place. That makes us so silly as we combine fire and water, dog and cat ( although it can happens, but rarely)

It sounds weird comparing these two aspects. Good luck on discussing this weird topic. The author needs to be mature to predict and conclude his opinion.

One thing I would like to mention here. Avoid using "Jap" to call Japanese people. It''s a racist word that old American used to call the Japanese during the World War II with a very unrespectful meaning.
