Không dễ, nhưng chắc chắn là không khó lắm. Bác làm thử tiếp theo topic "First Date" đi. Mỗi người viết 1 đoạn ngắn để học thêm từ vựng với nhau.

First Date

John "Here to our friendship."

Jenny "To our friendship."

Waiter "Would you like to order some appetizers first?"

John "Sure. Jenny, do you mind if I order for both of us?"

Jenny "No, go ahead, I trust your judgement."

John "Okay, can we have squid rings, fried mozzarella cheese and crab stuffed mushrooms."

Waiter "Excellent choices, sir. May I suggest cold beers to accompany those appetizers?"

John "Yes, can we have a pitcher of wheat beer please. Thank you."

Waiter "You are quite welcome sir."

First Date


Waiter "Here you are. Enjoy your food."

John "Thank you, we will."

Jenny "These look good."

John "They taste even better. Try the calamari rings. I like them most."

Jenny "I thought you ordered squid rings?"

John "Squid, calamari, same difference. Try it with a dash of hot sauce."

Jenny "Hmmm, these are good. Now I know why he suggested the beer. This hot sauce scorched my tounge. And this beer tastes great."

John "What else can a man ask for ? A cold beer and a hot date."

Jenny "Is this your favorite pick up line? It sounds rehearsed to me."

John "No, it's a compliment. But, I've been waiting for the right moment."

Jenny "And what are these? They look like hush puppy to me."

John "No, they are deep fried cheese. Here they cut them into small chunks, instead of making them long like cheese sticks at other restaurants. Try them with house ranch sauce."

Jenny "John, you hardly touch your food."

John "I am too busy watching you eat."

Jenny "Don't tell me I am stuffing my face."

John "No, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed looking at your beautiful face."

Jenny "Nice try, buster. Have some of this, I can't eat them all by myself."

John "Okay."

Jenny "So, how often you come here?"

John "Once every blue moon. I don't want to dine at the same place more than once a month."

Jenny "In my case, I rarely go to high class joint like this. I prefer mom and pop kind of restaurant."

John "Same here. I like those hole in the wall restaurants. I guess it's more authentic, no, more family kind of cooking."

Jenny "So, you brought me here to impress me ?"

John "Kind of. But I like it here because it is more private compare to other franchise type restaurants."

First Date

Waiter "Are you ready for main courses, madam, sir?"

Jenny "Sure."

John "Oh, yes. What would you like to have, Jenny?"

Jenny "Why don't you order for both of us? You did a fine job for the appetizers."

John "Okay. For my friend here, blackened catfish with dirty rice. For me, I would like cajun jambalaya. And a chilled bottle of Riesling for our spicy dishes."

Waiter "Excellent, sir."

Jenny "Dirty rice? sounds mysterious."

John "Oh, it's a southern dish. Trust me, you will like it."

Jenny "I do. It's just that I've never had it before."

John "It's just rice cooked with minced chicken livers, which give a dirty appearance."

Jenny "So, you know how to make this dish?"

John "I don't want to boast, but I can make many of the dishes they have here. You see, I came from Louisiana. Cajun cooking is in my blood."

Jenny "Maybe you should give me a demonstration sometime."
