Jenny "Are you chef or something ?"

John "No, not really. It's a long story."

Jenny "Well, the night is still young."

John "Okay, I give you a short version. My family used to own a restaurant specialized in southern cuisine. All of us had to help out on weekends and in summers. I hated washing dishes and sweeping floors, so I helped the cooks. I started out in chopping garlics and peeling potatoes. Eventually I got to chef assistant. By this time I decided to join the Navy to get away from the kitchen. Guess what, they put me in charge of gallery of an aircraft carrier. That's how I know my way in the kitchen."

Jenny "That's really an interesting story."

John "Not from my point of view. I joined the Navy to see the world and ended up cooking for 6000 people a day. It got bored very quick. But that's enough about me. Tell me about yourself."

Jenny "Well, I am the only girl in an all boy family."

John "So, you are daddy's girl?"

Jenny "No. More like daddy's boy, since he raised me like he was taught in the Army. Many of my classmate considered me as a tomboy."

John "Interesting."
