    Programme content
The programme curriculum is characterised by a multidisciplinary, interuniversity and international approach reflecting the high diversity, complexity and biological specialisation of nematodes.

The study programme lasts two years: the first year consists of several courses and practical exercises, the second consists of a few ad***ional courses, networking and seminars, and the dissertation. The programme offers compulsory courses, three elective modules (Nematology Applied to Agro-ecosystems, Nematology Applied to Natural Ecosystems, Nematode Systematics (Taxonomy, Phylogeny and Biodiversity) and ad***ional elective courses. Ernst Mach Grant (học bổng dành cho giảng viên trẻ, Master, PhD và Post-doc)

    Link: http://www.oead.at/index.php?id=416&L=1

    Ernst Mach Grant

The Ernst Mach Grants are named after the famous Austrian physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach (1838-1916). It consists of two sub-programmes, theErnst Mach Grant worldwide and the Ernst Mach Grant for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (“Fachhochschule”).

Both are financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMWF). Applications have to be submitted online at www.scholarships.at and then a board of representatives of the BMWF and the OeAD awards the Ernst Mach Grants based on the results of the assessment procedure. The duration of the grants vary according to the regulations of the sub-programmes (see below). Extensions are not possible with these programmes.

    Target group

The Ernst Mach Grant - worldwide aims at postgraduates (i.e. PhD students, post-docs and young university lecturers) who primarily want to perform research in Austria. The duration is between 1 and 9 months.
The Ernst Mach Grant for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) aims at undergraduates (meaning students in a master programme) who want to spend one or two semesters studying at a "Fachhochschule" (UAS - University of Applied Sciences) in Austria. To avoid any interference with grants/scholarships of the EU this programme is open just for non-European students (meaning all other continents than Europe).
    Closing date for application

March 1st of every year, online application: www.scholarships.at
