    Joint Japan/ World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP). Deadline : March 31, 2012.

    The Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarships Program is receiving scholarship applications. The scholarship provides full tuition, living expenses, and air tickets for mid-career professionals to earn Master's Degrees from world-class institutions in development-related subjects. The program is primarily targeted to people in the public sector, but others working in development-related fields are encouraged to apply.

    One World scholarship program for developing countries at Austrian universities. Deadline : end of May each year.

    The Scholarship-Programme is directed at students from Africa, Asia and Latin America who are interested in development policy and who have come to Austria on their own initiatives, in order to complete their education.

    OFID Scholarship Award 2011/12 - Deadline is May 28, 2012.

    OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) is pleased to announce that qualified applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree and who wish to study for a Master's degree are welcome to apply for the OFID Scholarship 2012. The OFID Scholarship will be awarded *****pport two students or candidates for Master’s degree studies. The applicant may be from any developing country, and he/she must first obtain admission to pursue a Master's (graduate) degree in any recognized university/college in the world. The Scholarship is open to those students who wish to pursue studies in a relevant field of Development or Energy Studies.

    Eligibility

    - Must be between the ages of 23-32 at the time of submitting his/her application.
    - Must have obtained or be on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree with a Baccalaureate from an accre***ed college/university, or its equivalent.
    - Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system, or its equivalent.
    - Must be matriculated at an accre***ed university for the upcoming academic year starting August/September 2012, and must maintain full-time status for the duration of the Master's Degree.
    - Must be a national of a developing country (please see list of eligible countries below)
    - Must select a subject of study that pertains to OFID’s core mission, such as: economics of development (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (desertification), or other related science and technology fields.

    The application deadline is May 28, 2012.

    2012 Taiwan Scholarship

    In an effort to encourage outstanding international students (excluding students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) to undertake degree studies in Taiwan so as to familiarize themselves with the academic environment in Taiwan and promote communication, understanding and friendship between Taiwan and countries around the world, the Ministry of Education (MOE) awards outstanding international students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Taiwan by awarding each recipient of the Taiwan scholarship.

    Taiwan Representative Offices provide application information and establish selection requirements in accordance with these guidelines and directly process applications in coordination with local government agencies, schools, educational and cultural institutions. Scholarship application information (including selection criteria, scholarship types and quotas, application process, application period,) is provided in both Chinese and the local languages by January 31st of each year.

    Successful candidates should submit a copy of their letter of admission to their local Taiwan Representative Office for verification by June 30th of each year; should candidates fail *****bmit this letter within the specified time period, the candidates must submit a written explanation and request verification from their Representative Offices. Failure to be admitted into a university/college will result in a suspension from the Scholarship Program. Failure *****bmit documents within the specified time period will result in disqualification, and the candidates on the waiting list will be offered a scholarship. The list of recipients must be finalized no later than July 31st of each year.

    Asian Development Bank: Japan Scholarship Program

    The Japan Scholarship Program provides an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB's developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region. The ADB-JSP provides full scholarships for one to two years.

    This program is for citizens of ADB’s developing member countries, not older than 35 years old.

    Chị Rome ơi, em là một lính mới tò te tham gia vào cuộc săn lùng học bổng.

    Announcement follows
    The University of Pavia (UNIPV) and its students decided to create the ‘Fund for Cooperation & Knowledge – in and out of Pavia’. The Fund is financed thanks to the contribution both of the students (2 Euros each) and of the University itself. The Fund is intended to provide scholarships to students from Developing Countries, who wish to study one year at the University of Pavia, and to UNIPV students who would like to spend some months in a Developing Country for studying, researching and/or training.
    The Fund and the selection of the students are managed by a Committee composed by students, professors and officers of the University of Pavia, plus a representative of the DGDC, for a total of 15 members. The Committee will select – among the applicants – the students who will receive a scholarship for the Academic Year 2011-2012.
    There is a call for applications currently opened to candidates from certain Developing Countries.The deadline is 12.00 pm (Italian time) of the 18 May 2012.
    Work schedule:
    - April 2012: opening of the call for applications;
    - April/May 2012: collection of the applications;
    - June 2012: selection of the winning students;
    - June 2012: defining the program of the selected students;
    - September 2012: the Program starts;
    - A.Y. 2012-2013: carrying out of the Program;

    Malaysian International Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies provides opportunities for students from countries with diplomatic relations and bilateral cooperation with Malaysia to pursue advanced academic study in Malaysia. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote bilateral arrangement with partner countries on government to government basis, and to encourage students from other countries to study in Malaysia with the view to facilitate future collaboration and exchange of scholars in enhancing educational cooperation between Malaysia and partner countries.

    Malaysian International Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies are available for postgraduate studies at Masters and PhD level tenable at Malaysian Universities. The duration of the award is 36 months for PhD and between 12 to 24 months for Masters programme.
    Field of studies are in the following priority areas:

    1. Science and Engineering
    2. Agriculture and Fisheries
    3. Economics and Islamic Finance
    4. Information and Communication Technology
    5. Biotechnology
    6. Biosecurity and Food Safety
    7. Infrastructure and Utility
    8. Environmental Studies
    9. Health including but not limited to, nursing, medicine, clinical pharmacy
    *Applicants may choose any related course within the field/areas mentioned above
    Scholarship

    Each scholarship consists of:

    • Air tickets from recipient’s capital city to Malaysia
    • An approved tuition fees
    • Monthly maintenance allowance
    • Annual grant for books and internal travel
    • Medical / Health Insurance
    • Installation and Termination grant
    • Thesis allowance (will be paid at the beginning of research (after proposal defense) and the balance will be paid only upon submission of the thesis) – For PhD and Post-Doctoral only
    • A conference travel grant and journal publication grant (PhD and Post-Doctoral only)
    Eligibility

    To be eligible for Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), applicants must fit the following criteria:

    • Not be more than 45 years of age during application.
    • Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at Bachelor Degree Level for Masters Degree applicants and for PhD candidates must possess CGPA 3.5/4.0 or very good result at Masters degree level in a similar field of intended PhD study. In ad***ion, for post-doctoral programme, the selection will be evaluated based on the number of books produced, refereed/non refereed journals, portfolio and patent copyright. The Post-Doctoral candidate must have excellent reputation in research and possesses knowledge related to the research to be carried out.

    • Took one of the following English Language Proficiency Test not more than two years before the date of application. The list of tests and minimum scores required:
    - IELTS Academic Test with a score of at least 6.5; or
    - TOEFL paper-based test with a score of at least 580 or computer-based test with a score of at least 230 or internet-based test with a score at least 92.

    • In excellent health con***ion and certified by a Certified Doctor/Medical Professional. The cost of medical examination is to be borne by the applicants
    • Wrote a proposal that is relevant to the needs and interests of Malaysia (research-based programme only)
    • Has applied for and gained admission to postgraduate and post-doctoral studies in Malaysia (con***ional letters of offer will be accepted at the time of application or has a confirmation of acceptance or affiliation with the universities in Malaysia).

    All applications should be made ONLINE through Ministry of Higher Education’s website herestarting from 16th January 2012 until 30th April 2012.
    STEP 1

    1. REGISTER your Passport Number or National Identication Number, password and email address.
    2. LOGIN to online application form and fill in all section completely.
    3. Please ensure all informations are correct before you print the application and logout.
    STEP 2
    Please attach printed application form together with the following documents:

    1. Recent passport size photograph.

    3. A certified copy of current passport showing evidence of citizenship.
    4. A certified copy of academic transcript, testimonials and/or references relating to the relevant study, co-curriculum activities, achievements.
    5. A clear and precise study or research plan

    The Cardiff University Postgraduate (Taught) International Scholarship is offered to international postgraduate taught (e.g. master’s) students from all countries.     On behalf of the Department of Jurisprudence of the University of Genoa, I am pleased to announce the Second E***ion of the Post-graduate Master Programme (one year, 60 CFU) in Global Rule of Law and Constitutional Democracy.

    The Master programme will be held in English and/or Spanish, according to the language skills of the students. In order to obtain the Master Degree, students will be required to pass 18 exams (eight courses will be held in a four-weeks residential session at the Imperia campus of the University of Genoa, between January 21st and February 15th, 2013, plus ten courses in three on-line sessions: November-December 2012, March-April 2013, and May-June 2013) and write a Master thesis (July-October 2013). The number of participants to the Master is limited to a maximum of 25 students. 10 scholarships are being offered, on the terms specified in the announcement (and also in the information form below). Applications, to be filled on-line, must be recieved by June 30th, 2012, at 12.00 AM.

    The Master is designed to provide its students with a unique opportunity for technical training and cultural and intellectual development on key subjects for the establishment and maintenance of morally decent societies.
