Does social class exist in the modern society ?

Some governments say no. Some people say no. Howerver, actually, social class does exist. Do you agree ? Are you 1 of those people ? Do you look down on the poor ? Are you jealous of the rich ? Let''s share your experience.

I don''t know much about social class, because I am lazy to read philosophic book . In my opinion, we have poor and rich, but I think have another is neutral class. Maybe I will research it to discuss with you .

The Socialist has never existed in our country and in the world until now. We, the Vietnamese are finding the way to go up to the Socialist I think it is impossible nowaday.

To drpth: I don''t understand what you meant. Socialist is a person and In Vietnam there are such people. But I am not talking about Socialism, I am talking about social class, the poor, the rich. There are normally 3 classes in a society: The first class (who are very very rich), the middle class and the third class. Although social class doesn''t appear obviously in the society, we can realize it through the way people treat each other.

yeah!!! i agree with it i mean the social class, every where in the world have social class.
And in Vietnam that appear obviously they are jealous to each other and some of them look down on poor people....for the normal example that when u come to the bar, the waitress ask u to dink wine or beer, if u call 1 botle of wine they will sit beside u and pour for u. otherwise they dont when call 1 bottle of beer. then u can see the different of treating and look down on people, even u can affort to pay for 1 bottle of wine.
andyway, that is just my opinion of social class and the way they treat people
