An excellent book on the capabilities of the MiG-29.
A true masterpiece.It mainly depicts how the MiG-29 would have fought during the Cold War.I say that because the author seems to assume that pilot training is as it was during the 16th Air Army heydays.But since the book focus on the aircraft and not the air force which operate it, it''s easily forgiven.
I have no complaints about this book.Magnificent photos, genuine analysis with no bias towards the russian aircraft or its western counterparts.Truly it''s the most honest analysis of the MiG-29 I have yet seen.Well worth the price.Be aware though that it''s not a reference book on the MiG-29 but more like an article on the capabilities of the Fulcrum.
This is a wonderful book and a must have for every aviation fanatic. The highlights according to me are the amazing photographs and drawings which bring the Fulcrum to life as never before. The other part that I loved was the reliance on first hand reports by pilots who have flown the Fulcrum or flown against it.
This is a well organized book, lavishly illustrated with photos. The writer Jon Lake describes the Soviet equivalent of the F16 with an enthusiasm that makes this book a joy to read. The only problem i could find is that hard techinical data (as one often expects from any publication bearing the famous "Jane" name) is lacking. If these were present, i''d have rated it a 5-star. It would still make a terrific gift for all except the hard-core fans of aviation. As an aside, I can personally vouch for the accuracy of the reporting, having flown the MIG-29 with the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
This is one heck of a book. Perfectly written, provides up-to-date info on this hot fighter and has brilliant photos. The best book of its kind I''ve seen so far. I''d reccomend this book to anybody who loves Mig''s.

@ov10: Rất cám ơn bạn đã cung cấp các tài liệu rất hay cho mọi người. Tuy nhiên mình có đề nghị thiết tha như sau: nếu bạn có thể cho luôn link down trực tiếp cái file của bạn thì hay quá. Vì hầu hết anh em trên ta ở VN đều rất khó khăn trong việc down qua Rapid hoặc Mega vì ko thể mua trực tiếp acc được ( hoặc phải đợi hàng tiếng mới down được, hoặc phải nhờ người khác lấy link down trực tiếp ... ).
Nếu có được vậy có lẽ mối lần lấy lịnk sẽ tặng bác vài sao

Tớ cũng làm thủ công thôi... lâu lâu mới sài ké của thằng bạn ở nước ngoài cho mượn, nên anh em đành làm theo cách của tớ vậy.
Gợi ý: May là ở VN hầu hết là IP động.
Còn anh em nào dùng qua mạng nội bộ thì bó tay thật.
