My E is not so good, but there are some wrong things I can show you. You should concern about singular and plural.
four days ago, i received a message from Bewithme, she said, " the topic of our group in this week is " what do you often do when you are in toilet? " ^_^.......
I think that is a funny topic, there are so many reasons for shame. but it also has a lot of things to talk about. EX my brother always read his books or favourite magazines in toilet, he takes 15 to 20 minitutes for one time. ......... i like to make up in toilet because i dont like anybody sees me doing ^_^ ..........
My E is very bad, really bad.......... i hope my level will be improved when I make friend to you, everybody in this group
Im sure there are something wrong in those sentences but i m not shame ^_^, please check them and help me write them again!
    Thank you !

hi everybody, i''''ve just bought an interesting book " world folktales", by Anita Stern. If u like, i''''ll post one story every 2 week. Here is the first:

    Why the baby says ?ogoô?
In a village near the mountains, there lived a chief. He was a brave man who had fought in many battles. No one in the tribe had killed more enemies than he.
The chief feared no one. He fought the ice giants who came out of the North and carried away the women and children. He made them go back to their home in the North. He killed some of the evil people that lived in the ****s. And he drove the others out of the land. Everybody loved the chief. He was so brave and good that the villagers thought there was no one like him anywhere.
But after he drove the giants out of the land, the chief began to think that he was the greatest warrior in the world.
?oI can conquer anyonê?, he bragged.
Now a wise old woman lived in the village. When she heard what the great chief bragged. She smiled.
?oOur chief is wonderful?, she said, ?o but there is one who is more powerful than hê?.
The villagers told the chief what the wise woman had said. He came to visit her wigwam.
?oGrandmother, who is this wonderful one?? he asked.
?oHis name is Wasis?, answered the wise woman.
?oAnd where is he, Grand mother?? asked the chief
?oHe is there,? said the wise woman, and she pointed to a place in the wigwam.
The chief looked. What do you think Wasis was? He was a fat little baby. He sat in the middle of the floor, talking to himself and sucking a piece of maple sugar. He looked so sweet and seemed very happy with himself.
The chief had no wife and knew nothing about babies. But he was very proud of himself, and he thought he knew everything. He was sure that the baby would obey him.
He smiled to little Wasis and said: ?obaby, come to me!?
But the baby smiled and continued sucking his maple sugar.
The chief was surprised. The villagers always did everything he asked. He could not understand why the baby did not obey him. So he smiled and again said to little Wasis: ?oBaby, come to me!?
The baby smiled back and continued sucking his maple sugar.
The chief was surprised. No one had ever disobeyed him before. He grew angry. He gave little Wasis a mean look and shouted at him : baby, come to me!?
Little Wasis opened his mouth and began crying and screaming. The chief had never heard such awful sounds. Even the ice giants did not scream so terribly.
The chief was more and more surprised. He could not think why such al ittle baby would no obey him.
?oAmazing!? he said. ?oAll other men fear me. But this baby shouts back war cries. Perhaps I can control him with my magic?.
He took out his medicine bag. He danced magic dances and sang wonderful songs.
Little Wasis smiled and watched the chief with big round eyes. He thought it was all very funny. But he continued *****ck his maple sugar.
The chief danced until he was tired out. Sweat ran down his face. Red paint ran down his face and neck. The feathers on his headdress fell down.
At last, he sat down. He was too tired to dance any longer.
?oDidn?Tt I tell you that Wasis is stronger than you?? said the wise old woman. ?oNo one is stronger than the baby. He always controls the wigwam. Everyone loves him and obeys him?
?oSo it is,? said the chief sadly as he went out of the wigwam. As he went out , he could hear little Wasis talking to himself.
?oGoo, goo, goo!? the baby said as he sucked his maple sugar.
Now when you hear a baby saying ?oGoo, goo, goo,? you will know what it means. It is the baby?Ts war cry. The baby is happy because he remembers the time when he won the battle with the chief in the wigwam of the wise old woman.
    A. Looking back
Answer these questions about the story
    1. Why doesn?Tt the baby obey the chief?
    2. Why does the baby cry after the chief comes into the wigwam?
    3. Who is right ?" the wise old woman or the chief?
    B. Understanding characters?T feelings
Complete the chart. Tell how the chief and the baby feel at different times in the story. Use the word that you know
    The chief The baby
When the chief enters the wigwam Proud, confident
    When the chief shouts:
When the chief dances and sings
At the end of the story
    C. Getting the deeper meaning
    1. What does the chief learn?
    2. What shows that the old woman is very wise?
    3. At the end of the story the reader learns that the baby?Ts war cry is ?ogoo, goo, goô?. What does this mean?
    4. If the chief had been a father, he would have acted differently. What could have happened if he had children of his own?
    enjoy!
